-sick .sm file name (also stop idk if this is legal in the database)

-[00:12.392] hi-hats for the most part are barely audible at 100% speed. Also, they are swing 24ths. Check the waveforms. https://i.imgur.com/Z0dR5H9.png

-[00:14.341] Missing 16th.

-[00:17.816] Same situation as the above note.

-[00:21.036 -> 00:21.121] Missing 16ths.

-[00:23.409] Not sure how I feel about the 16th minijacks here, since the cymbal crashes on the 8th drones out the 16ths heavily. You can’t really hear them at all.

-[00:29.849] This really feels like the entire song was stepped at 50% speed, and there wasn’t much consideration for how it played out at 100% speed, because a lot of what I’m getting/hearing doesn’t match up note-wise, unless I switch to 50% speed. For example, 00:30.357 first 32nd roll is a lot less pronounced than the second 32nd roll. I wouldn’t argue whether it’s there or not, but it doesn’t play out musically at 100% speed. At 00:31.374, the cymbal crash drones out all the 16ths happening here. They are there, but would argue they are not musically viable except for the drum roll at 00:35.103 that helps distinguish the 16ths. This is prevalent throughout the file, and is likely why the file is getting the reject, because it interferes with playing the file vs what is there.

-[00:55.440] I’m pretty sure this is not a minijack.

-[01:07.050] Almost every 16th jump in this section after this timestamp is a swing 24th jump. Section needs a once-over to double-check the single 16ths, but almost this entire section is 24th swing, rather than 16ths.

-[01:35.099] Section plays out similarly if not identical to 00:23.239, so it’s a little confusing when going into this section expecting the previous one.

-[01:46.003] 24th here instead of the 16th up arrow (16th is a little late).

-[01:56.115] https://i.imgur.com/KlcmLJH.png

-[01:56.793 -> 03:04.588] Plays out very well.

-The ending I would argue has some points that fall into the same category as the big big note that I provided above regarding some instances where more is stepped than is musically viable, but is ok as-is.

-Mostly the chorus and the intro got butchered because of how hi-hats and other low audible sounds were stepped in contrast to what was viable at 100% speed. There’s also a big breakdown in the middle that was stepped as 16ths when the jumps were 24ths, so it consistently plays ever slightly off. It’s a very solid attempt, but a reject from me. I would CQ it if the only issues were the intro / breakdown, but the chorus & intro do not play well given how notes for the file clash with the music, and feel like asking to fix that for CQ would be asking too much in terms of chart structure.

Thanks for notes!

I'm not going to appeal this rating. This file was simply weird, both to make and play the result. You're bang on about it being stepped at a low rate; I wanted to get as much out of it as I could. I don't know what I was really going for with this chart.

Some of the swing notes were deliberately placed as 16ths. A lot of the minijacks are for "vocals."

I miiiight fix and resubmit this later if I ever understand what I wanted to do with it lmao
