Anima v2 (qrrbrbirbel) [6.5/10]
>Permission check good.
>Sync looks good (No changes necessary).
>’Artist’ property under simfile properties should be ‘Xi’ instead of ‘XI’ (all-caps). No other issues found in simfile properties.
>Two different ‘.sm.old’ files found within submission folder, suggest removing.
-[00:27.832 & 00:28.159] Switch up the 4th jumps here for PR. Gets stale quick.
-[00:43.445] Not really seeing the justification of the 16th jack into the hand here in the music.
-[00:45.080] Not sure if I agree with the brasiveness of the miniaturized 16th jumpgluts here in comparison to previous iterations of jumpglut usage. Applies to other situations where they are involved, like at 00:52.437 for example.
-[00:46.715] 16th minijumpjacks to these piano repetitions don’t necessarily sit well with what’s being represented at 100% speed. That includes situations where it’s a partial jumpjack like at 00:49.331. I would typically be more reserved to situations where the piano is more pronounced in the main melody like at 00:50.312 for these kinds of minijumpjacks. It’s alright through headphones but it’s lost in stereo speakers, if that makes sense.
-[00:50.148] What is this 16th [24] going to?
-[00:50.802] Again, not seeing the justification of the 16th minijack coming out of the hand, similar to the note at 00:43.445. The hands did the job at properly accentuating the transition, don’t think it need to be further accentuated via minijack. Makes for difficult transitioning and not much else.
-[00:51.456] This is fine, pretty sure the 32nd here is a ghost note though.
-[01:01.674 & 01:02.982] Personal preference, would dial this back to a [14] jump to show the missing piano for this note.
-[01:05.516] 16th minijack being accented here again, but it’s just making the transition as a whole needlessly painful for what it is already, and doesn’t adequately portray the music.
-[01:17.097] Pretty sure this is a ghost 12th. It’s also not followed up at 01:19.712 or any similar repeating scenarios.
-[01:29.631] Change the [12] jumps to somewhere else for PR.
-[01:30.285] Same with these two [14] jumps.
-[01:30.939] Same as the last two notes here.
-[01:31.593] Oof.
-[01:34.862] Could sit better PR-wise, roll left to right instead of right to left.
-[01:48.595 & 01:49.903] Jump?
-[02:32.083] repeat notes from 00:27.832.
-[02:39.276] Potential for grace notes here.
-[03:09.576] Repeat note from 01:17.097.
-[03:10.339] Missing jump.
-[03:15.571] Missing hand.
-Majority of stuff in the 2nd half here are repeated issues from the first half as there is a fair amount of copy-paste happening here.
-[03:53.336] If you’re following the piano here, these are 24ths. Otherwise, there are no 32nds here.
-[04:01.429] Interesting change in patterns happening here, but there’s a missing 16th here.
-[04:13.118] Missing jump.
-[04:23.254] This [12]2[12] pattern at the very end of a 4 and a half minute file at 183bpm is actually absurd. Can we please move the [12] 8th to [34] and mirror everything after it?
-Needs a fair amount of fixes, but not unsalvageable. Needs at least missing notes, ghost notes, and a general look at PR notes for minimal acceptance.
