Paladin (Telnaior) [5.0/10]
> Permission check good.
> Sync is slightly off (Syncs at -0.055 Music Offset, currently set to -0.060). No changes necessary due to how framers are created, but highly suggest fixing. All timestamps for this judgment will be based on this sync.

-Intro is the tiniest of bits long, but is varied enough to justify it staying.
-[00:17.131] For a first file, you’re doing a very good job following PR here.
-[00:46.208] You will definitely want a jump transitioning into this section (a [14] works).
-[00:53.593] Really don’t want to drop the 4th here with the inclusion of it from that 24th roll.
-[01:00.978] Keeps being dropped. Make sure to fill in these 4ths. (01:08.362 as well)
-[01:38.478] Would argue that there isn’t a 16th here.
-[01:45.285 -> 02:14.824] This is essentially a copy-paste from earlier in the file, and could really use a cut for time due to the difficulty range and the sheer length of the file. Don’t need to get other players to revisit this section for some build-up, when stuff at 02:14.824 would slip right in via a cut.
-[02:16.208] Lots of opportunity for color theory on this vocal countdown.
-[02:44.362] the 4ths here are stepped, but weren’t stepped earlier in the chart that mimicked the same section. (Also, might be better as a [23], as to not force triplet jack.)
-[02:59.131] [14] jump instead of the current [24] jump.
-[03:11.824] Missing 8th. Repeat issue at 03:15.516, 03:19.208
-[03:21.747 -> 03:42.439] This patterning, while correct PR-wise, gets old & taxing very quickly. Given that it already happens at 01:30.978 for 15 seconds straight, the patterning really needs to be changed up to keep it fresh. Especially in a song pushing 4 minutes, you want to keep the player’s attention.
-It’s definitely a formidable attempt for a first file. It needs an overhaul on pattern usage, to give the file some variance. I would be ok with repetition in a shorter file, but in a longer file such as this, another major objective is to keep the player from getting bored from repetition. It could also use cuts as mentioned to help with time, as well as some consistency for 4th jumps/singles during the chorus.
