More seriously I'm just not sure if this is really the kind of file we want newer players to be immediately exposed to
My personal belief is that files with sub-5 difficulty should undergo way more scrutiny for song as these are the first things new players see...

Re: the color theory. I like good use of it in general, but not sure I enjoyed this all that much - it's just weird that the specific color chosen (cyan on the normal noteskin) doesn't really fit this music or the specific instrument being stepped whatsoever

OK, thought about this more and I'll give it a pass, since the lower difficulty range desperately needs more energetic songs. If nothing else, this is that, and it's short, it's unique in genre for that level of difficulty, and the song may be :| but not actively :S to most people. And it's starting to grow on me, so maybe it won't be that bad?
