First and foremost, I'd like to congratulate you on your first chart. You've embarked on what I consider to be an increadibly fun and rewarding hobby and I hope to see you stick with it. c:
--- Sync is noticeably off in this file, the offset should be -0.044 rather than the 0.000 provided in the file. Timestamps provided below will be using the corrected offset.
Unfortunately, this file has a lot of problems that can't be overlooked or simply addressed with a list of fixes. The file lacks a consistent and clear scheme for layering, is peppered with incorrect rhythms, and imo most importantly, lacks consistency with the ideas it tries to convey.
00:44.351 - This 16th rhythm is a very central and recurring element to this song and everytime it appears in the file, its represented very differently despite being effectively the same thing each time. In this first instance you have a quad into some jacks, but then at 00:48.044 the quad is now missing. at 00:51.736 the quad is gone again, but now its streams instead of jacks and this trend continues with each repetition. It is important for a file to be able to effectively repeat ideas in like sections of music to deliver a cohesive experience.
00:24.044 - The layering through this file doesn't make a lot of sense and i think this measure displays it most strongly. It starts off with a quad to mark the bass, but the bass hits on the 8ths at 00:24.736 and 00:25.197 are effectively ignored with the usage of singles. meanwhile you're using a jump at 00:24.505 for melody + percussion but a hand at 00:24.967 for what is just the melody. A good way to communicate what is happening in a song to the player is to build a consistent scheme for what sounds or combinations of sounds justify what type of notes. This file frequently uses quads and hands interchangeably as well as having no clear distinction between what warrants a single for vs. a jump. Tightening this up will go a long way towards more intuitively communicating the song to the player through the chart and is more effective at showing the player when the chart is focusing on.
Addressing those types problems will go a long way towards improving upon the issues in this file. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me via discord DM (I go by Layla on the discord server) or shoot me a private message here on the website. I'd be happy to work with you on this. In the meantime, I'll unfortunately have to give this a Reject.
