tarantula funk beats (choof) [8**FR/10]
>Permission good (Blanket)
>Folder contents good
>Sync good
**Metadata: Remove subtitle and fix artist name to match other songs in FFR (change to Dev/Null)
Not much to argue against here. Gone through this a few times and nothing really stands out as egregious. The chart is well laid out and fairly well balanced, greatly appreciated with how chaotic the song is. Metadata fix and this is good to go. Good stuff!~

tarantula funk beats (_choof) [7.5/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
5.767: Missing note.
10.731-11.331: This (repeated) motif hits pretty hard on the left hand for a "section" that doesn't really stand out so much relative to the rest in terms of song intensity and loudness. Reminds me of Odd-22 right hand snakes, except much less justifiable. Part of it is likely due to the density created by the two 16th jumps, which frankly are probably not necessary. Would highly recommend nerfing this motif a little.
29.888: These 12ths (and the repeated occurrences) should be a 32nd at 29.896 and a 16th at 29.971.
31.970: Missing note.
55.808-56.208: Expecting 8th jumps here, not 16ths or singles. Same at 1:02.205.
1:21.995: Would suggest charting this sound (maybe white notes?).
1:26.893-1:27.493: Feels a bit too suddenly empty. Notes like 1:27.093, 1:27.293, 1:27.393 (and 1:27.692?) should probably be added.
1:30.524: This should probably be a 24th at 1:30.558, as the 12th there doesn't quite match anything. Check other iterations too.
A fast fadeout at the end would make it much less jarring of an end for FFR. This just feels weird as is because on FFR you only get like a second or so of that long uncharted ending, so you get none of the original fadeout and just a direct cut while it's still loud and clear.
Pretty chaotic chart, but the motifs really help anchoring the different sections and making things relatively intuitive for such a wild song. It's not always clear why some 16ths are there/missing, but for the most part it's coherent and matches the song's intensity (check out 10.731 though). The jumps layering is also a bit shaky at times, but again the motifs help keeping things coherent enough.

5.767 - this happens a few times, fixed in all instances
10.731-11.331 - made a few changes to this. not sure what else I could do here to nerf the left handed stuff further without changing the 12[34]21 by either mirroring one of the instances, or by changing it to something else entirely with less left hand bias. don't want to mirror it since it'll put the snare on [12] and that's being heavily used for one of the main kicks.
29.888 - technically the 12ths just above do something similar. I had considered using the correct timings when I was initially charting this but ended up using 12ths instead, mainly because I think the coloring is cleaner and I don't believe they're that distinguishable at this speed. I don't mind changing this either way.
31.970 - fixed
55.808-56.208 - fixed
1:21.995 - ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh dunno about this one lmao. a white note here would stand out as the only white note in the entire chart otherwise, and even though it would be clear what it's going to and why it's there, I personally would rather keep this empty to build tension, as this seems to be what dev/null's going for musically
1:26.893-1:27.493 - the filter being applied here sufficiently obscure the drums here imo, but I agree that this does feel too empty. added notes for the first three timestamps. the 8th at 1:27.692 doesn't seem to be nearly as musically justified, and the previous three added notes do a good job filling in the empty space without one here.
1:30.524 - lol I used a 24th here initially as well, it felt kinda awkward during playtesting so I smoothed it out into 12ths. I've reverted this to my initial patterns, shifting this note down by one 24th.
fixed metadata and made the ending fade out after 2 measures. I understand why this is necessary but I still hate it rofl.
