Goddess Gagged (Storn42) [7/10] -FR-

PERMS OK
SYNC NOT OK [FR] (Tough call to make, but this song seems like a sync nightmare and while approximation is sometimes necessary in this kind of song, this chart feels noticeably off at various spots even on 100% speed. Most of the sync stays within ± one 96th though. Notable bad examples: 1:14.862, 2:08.071-2:09.321, 2:28.603, just to name a few)

5.345: This guitar note is a full 48th early, should be on 5.374. Also 5.464 should be on 5.478 (one 96th). Just noting this early instance of "non-standard guitar sync", but do check for other ones that may benefit from tighter precision.

5.583: Weird PR.

22.993: Missing note.

33.613: PR with the jump at 33.795. The guitar motif of 2 repeated 8ths. Same issue with 36.476.

35.583: PR could be improved on this guitar note.

1:08.344: No vocals here, jump should probably not be on this.

1:15.040: Ghost note?

1:47.258: Jump.

2:50.656: Bit odd to have jumps here when the drums are actually quieter than at 2:49.321 for example.

2:55.119 & 2:55.298: Ghost notes or bad quantization (maybe 12ths polys with the 8th).

3:00.744-3:02.887 [FR]: Straight 16ths for this guitar loses a lot of representation. Same applies to the similar iterations, but this one in particular is just very noticeable.

Eh. Conflicting one. While the sync concern is pretty widespread, the resulting change shouldn't really affect the chart itself. There are some PR issues and a bit of a lack of representation/variety given the complex sync, but for the most part it is understandable why it's simplified. Aside from that, the patterning and layering is generally enjoyable and intuitive.

Goddess Gagged (Storn42) [7.5/10]

- Perms, metadata, sync are good

10.940 - Why jump?

22.904 - Subtle from the kick prior

23.708 - Eh, would've prefered to represent this as a jump instead of the 8th jump

38.982, etc - No guitar noise here assuming that's what you're going for, but fine if it's for the jump

57.189 - Why note here? You don't layer vocals here

*59.868-1:00.106 - Quantization here is wrong and these jumps are noticably faster than 12ths

1:08.255-1:08.790 - Werid PR here

1:10.487, 1:10.665 - What do these jumps go to?

*1:14.505-1:14.773 - Trill feels noticably off sync, double check

1:22.113 - Missing note and the 8th jump shouldn't be a jump

1:35.141-1:35.237 - Slightly difficult to interpet which cols you're using because of the jump at 1:34.563 (either starts from col 2 or 4)

1:47.258 - Missing jump

2:07.536-2:11.643 - Not quite understanding the hand motif here, what's it going to? If it's going to the drums, 2:08.607 & 2:11.464 is missing

2:38.436 - Why hand here? For the cymbal?

2:38.971 - And not here??

*2:54.316-2:54.851 - All the 16ths are ghost notes

*3:00.744-3:11.816 - As a whole sync here is wobbly. There are a few off-sync rhythms happening here that do not correlate to the 16th notes. Recommend double checking off-sync rhythms here (one example: 3:08.066)

File is relatively straightforward and consistent (I'm not doing the 'In the words of ositz' anymore). Layering makes sense and overall it's fun to play. Address some of the sync issues and look into fixing some of the notes and it's good to go.

re: the end - I'm not really sure what to do there. I'm having trouble hearing where the problems are or how to fix them without making the section a complete mess.

@op

5.345: This guitar note is a full 48th early, should be on 5.374. Also 5.464 should be on 5.478 (one 96th). Just noting this early instance of "non-standard guitar sync", but do check for other ones that may benefit from tighter precision.
- fixed

5.583: Weird PR.
- yea, but it just feels better to me compared to having the note on 4.

22.993: Missing note.
- fixerd.

33.613: PR with the jump at 33.795. The guitar motif of 2 repeated 8ths. Same issue with 36.476.
- fixed

35.583: PR could be improved on this guitar note.
- i'm not sure i really follow. I think the section works fine.

1:08.344: No vocals here, jump should probably not be on this.
- but there IS a snare :)

1:15.040: Ghost note?
- guitar note.

1:47.258: Jump.
- fixed.

2:50.656: Bit odd to have jumps here when the drums are actually quieter than at 2:49.321 for example.
- honestly i barely know what im doing with the jumps here. Its very hard to get a good representation without going "jumptrill lul"

2:55.119 & 2:55.298: Ghost notes or bad quantization (maybe 12ths polys with the 8th).
- good ears.

3:00.744-3:02.887 [FR]: Straight 16ths for this guitar loses a lot of representation. Same applies to the similar iterations, but this one in particular is just very noticeable.
- You need to give more feedback for things like this. You're basically saying "16ths bad. fix" and expecting me to understand.

@Deam

10.940 - Why jump?
- to keep PR with the guitar jack that starts at 10.404 while also having pr of the other guitar for the 12ths.

22.904 - Subtle from the kick prior
- fixed

23.708 - Eh, would've prefered to represent this as a jump instead of the 8th jump
- Its not accented so i feel its better to have this note lose the jump.

38.982, etc - No guitar noise here assuming that's what you're going for, but fine if it's for the jump
- there is a kick and a bass note though.

57.189 - Why note here? You don't layer vocals here
- its for the vocals. you might notice the [12] jack before it as well.

*59.868-1:00.106 - Quantization here is wrong and these jumps are noticably faster than 12ths
- fixed

1:08.255-1:08.790 - Werid PR here
- i dont entirely remember the reason for the pr here, but there is a reason.

1:10.487, 1:10.665 - What do these jumps go to?
- 1:10.487 is a ghost note. the other is snare.

*1:14.505-1:14.773 - Trill feels noticably off sync, double check
- the trill is fine, outside the casually late snare.

1:22.113 - Missing note and the 8th jump shouldn't be a jump
- the note is awfully soft, i think its better if left out. Fixeed the jump.

1:35.141-1:35.237 - Slightly difficult to interpet which cols you're using because of the jump at 1:34.563 (either starts from col 2 or 4)
- im not removing the jump.

1:47.258 - Missing jump
- fixed.

2:07.536-2:11.643 - Not quite understanding the hand motif here, what's it going to? If it's going to the drums, 2:08.607 & 2:11.464 is missing
- its the guitars.

2:38.436 - Why hand here? For the cymbal?
- its just an emphasized note, partially due to the cymbal.

2:38.971 - And not here??
- whoops. fixed.

*2:54.316-2:54.851 - All the 16ths are ghost notes
- its soft, but the notes ARE there. this is backed up by the repeat pattern for all the other repeats.

*3:00.744-3:11.816 - As a whole sync here is wobbly. There are a few off-sync rhythms happening here that do not correlate to the 16th notes. Recommend double checking off-sync rhythms here (one example: 3:08.066)
- honestly, idk what i CAN do here. I'm already having trouble hearing everything in the section as is and for the most part it all feels fine to me.
