dedaism (Lights & Elite Ninja) [8/10]

PERMS OK
SYNC OK

33.199: Could do 312 in 24ths here for the sliding wub entry. Just a suggestion. It would also somewhat match 41.023.

41.375: This gap doesn't really make sense, even less so with the minitrill.

1:05.670-1:06.375: Highly recommend continuing the trills there, as the rising synth only becomes clear enough after 1:06.375.

1:25.787: The minijack isn't justified. (14) would make more sense (and moving the following 8th to col 2).

1:34.125-1:34.258: This is very spiky. Yes it's a fast buzz sound, but this has the most difficult speed up that's not fully jumptrillable And has a bootrap at 1:34.125 on a forced (12)2(12) left hand motion. It's pretty unpleasant to play. Tone it down to something closer to 1:40.964 in terms of spikiness.

1:35.405: Missing note.

1:54.493 & 1:54.611: Missing notes.

2:56.362 & 2:56.450: Could afford these 32nds.

2:58.612-2:58.965: Slightly underwhelming.

Pretty solid chart. Really fun rhythms and abstractions. Bit dragging on the slow 4ths parts for a tourney file but it's justified and not too long. Do check out that spike though, it's borderline FR for that alone. Good job.

dedaism (Lights & Elite Ninja) [7.5/10] [Fixes Required]

- Perms, sync are good

- *Metadata mostly good. Folder name should be captial D, and artist metadata should be Ruby My Dear (capitalize the M)

22.905 - Should be a late 192th

28.346, 30.464 - Suggestion, there is a sound there, could add it

48.905-49.258 - Unwarranted 3-note anchor on col 3. Break it

46.999 roughly - Missing note. Compare with 32.596

50.934 roughly - ^

52.258-52.434 - Oooh nice

53.934 - Should be col 4

54.199, 54.287 - Subjective, but it's prolly too subtle here

56.111 - Off sync. Since it's color theoried, look at the waveform in the editor

57.287 - Why minijack here?

1:01.552 - 96th, not 12th

*1:09.728-1:09.905 - Bit of a ramp up in difficulty. Suggest to slow down the quantization a bit

1:12.140 - See 1:01.552

*1:16.611, 1:16.964 - These 24th don't make sense here, remove them

1:19.787 - Would fit better in col 3 instead of 4

1:24.375-1:24.728 - Mirror the trill, it sound slightly different than the trills prior

1:31.964 & 1:32.052 - Should be column 2 and 3

*1:32.140 - See 1:16.611, 1:16.964. Additionally compare with 54.023

*1:33.655-1:34.199 - Uhhhhhh yeah this is a bit too speedy for this difficulty, try and slow it down a bit

1:47.493 - Why jump here?

1:51.375-1:52.081 - Add some grey color theory here to enhance the mudded sound

1:53.846 - Should technically be 3, same tick volume as 1:53.493

*1:58.611-2:04.611 - Weird PR here, there's a bit more happening than just trills here (one more column variety)

**2:18.375-2:18.728 - Wrong quantization here. The piano here takes more power than the woosh sound. Change it to represent the piano instead

*2:19.787 - Separate this from column 1

2:31.787 - Remove this 4th to emphasize the attention to the 16ths in-between it

*2:55.788-2:56.141 - Too tame of a representation to the woosh here. Suggest to make it slighly faster

3:22.612-3:23.246 - Why not continue the representation of 4ths here?

*3:22.693 - Ghost note

Very solid and engaging file. Fun dump bursts all around. Review the notes and it's good to go. CR on * and FR on **

Thanks for the notes Oppie and Deam, will work on fixes through the next few days.

----------
Note Count changed: 2266 => 2280
AVG NPS changed: 10.66855 => 10.73446
Hand Bias changed: -12 => -2

Oppie:
------------------------
33.199 - Sure

41.375 - leaving this as is, the sound is at its most quiet here and its immediately following an impactful percussive sound. the break in the stream better expresses the sound -Lights

1:05.670-1:06.375 - Continuing the trills til 01:06.375 felt weird to me because the rising synth is noticeable enough to me before that so prefer leaving as is.

1:25.787 - Keeping

1:34.125-1:34.258 - See Deam notes below v

1:35.405 - Opting to not step this because it clashes too much with the following percussion notes right after and we would have to turn those into minijacks if we wanted to include this which we don't want to do.

1:54.493 & 1:54.611 - Added

2:56.362 & 2:56.450 - Good suggestion, added

2:58.612-2:58.965 - Made this less underwhelming

Deam:
------------------------
Metadata - Fixed

22.905 - Moved to 192nd

28.346, 30.464 - Added

48.905-49.258 - Moved the 48.905 note to [4]

46.999 roughly - I'm assuming you meant 46.699 because 46.999 makes no sense so I placed the note there.

50.934 roughly - Added

52.258-52.434 - c:

53.934 - Changed

54.199, 54.287 - Decided to remove 54.199 but keep 54.287 because every time I play this section it felt like something was missing with 54.287 removed.

56.111 - Synced to 56.118

57.287 - Something Lights forgot to change, fixed now

1:01.552 - Changed to 96th

1:09.728-1:09.905 - Not sure what to do here, there's plenty of other hard sections that I think it's probably justifiable to keep as-is.

1:12.140 - Changed to 96th

1:16.611, 1:16.964 - keeping. its following the sustain after the bass-ey hits. not super prominent, but it would diminish the feel i was looking for if removed -Lights

1:19.787 - Changed

1:24.375-1:24.728 - Keeping

1:31.964 & 1:32.052 - Changed which required me to changed some patterning with future notes

1:32.140 - I am not sure what this is referring to but if it's the 192nds after the jump here then it goes to the wub synth here.

1:33.655-1:34.199 - This used to be worse.... and honestly I don't think this is the hardest part of the song even. The rest of the chart is hard enough to justify this staying. It's also cool imo thanks Lights.

1:47.493 - My guess is scratch + hi-hat or just a stronger sound than most of the singles here surrounding it so that's why it's a jump Idk ask Lights (I asked Lights and can confirm it was the latter).

1:51.375-1:52.081 - I liked your suggestion here and tried to apply the color theory but for some odd reason the colorizer breaks the sync of the song when applying this for some very odd reason so unfortunately just going to leave as is and spare all the pain we've gone through trying to figure out what's wrong with this (Velo can confirm).

1:53.846 - Changed and also made 01:54.181 a [2] instead of [3] to keep it different from each other

1:58.611-2:04.611 - I think I fixed the weird PR here? Also had to adjust a few of the beginning notes of the following rolly stream since it clashed.

2:18.375-2:18.728 - We're not going to be changing this. While I hear the piano you're referring to, thats not at all what we want to represent here. its more valuable to follow the movement of the synth. switching to following the piano in the middle of the synth movement just doesn't make any sense and clashes with the approach the file takes in general. i don't understand how such a subjective issue could possibly warrant an FR. If this is too big a point of contention, we'd like to bring in a third judge. -Lights

2:19.787 - Changed to [34] away from column 1

2:31.787 - Keeping

2:55.788-2:56.141 - Keeping as is -Lights

3:22.612-3:23.246 - The piano is not the focus here anymore and feels too jumbled to include at this point. Feels much better just focusing on the wooshy synths.

3:22.693 - I am hearing something here but I will grant you that it's a bit faint.

Personal Notes
------------------------
00:30.202 -> 00:30.320 - added notes to missed wub here
00:48.905 - removed note because it seemed like a ghost note
00:49.522 - same as above ^
00:55.184 - added for consistency
00:59.319 -> 00:59.672 - changed to an easier pattern

Good to go. Good stuff.

As a note, metadata does not seem to be fixed and still shows as "Ruby my Dear"

Woops sorry about that I fixed the metadata again. Was probably because I tried to go back to an old version of the file to re-do all the notes and test why the color theory was messing with the sync so it had the old metadata.

But yeah anyways fixed now, thank you for your notes!
