I think this would fit for the remaining 80s difficulty bounty? owo tappies 3 chart.

Its a vocal dump of a Doom & Animal Crossing mashup, imagine hitting d5 with this in a late round while everyone else is playing BRRR-ey breakcore stuff. you know, deep down, that this would be amazing.

I recognize the ending is a bit long- it felt tasteful to keep it in the file and we gave it some "brass" color theory with the orange 32nds, but you wont break my heart if its deemed that this has to go.

- The sim folder name isn't as expected: "Eternal Horizons (Lights & basicdrummerman)" vs "Eternal Horizons (Lights)"

Eternal Horizons (Lights & basicdrummerman) [7/10] -FR-

PERMS OK
SYNC OK

23.814: Should probably add this.

30.752: Could afford this, fine if not added.

35.346: Layering the loud drum 16th here (and removing the two surrounding 24ths) would make the transition cleaner than this 1212 minitrill.

43.408: Minijack here isn't clear, col 3 would be more intuitive. See 1:43.408.

49.971: Not really a minijack there. 2:07.971 for example does work as a minijack.

1:01.689-1:24.846: Quite underwhelming for the difficulty curve of this chart. Would expect maybe some of the soft percussions or guitar or melody to be layered to balance a bit. Intro suffers the same.

1:27.377: Missing note.

1:27.939-1:28.689: Weird PR on these triplet flams.

1:29.346: A 16th here would make more sense, the abstraction is vague.

1:30.439 & 1:31.002 & 1:31.189: Just some of many 24th in this section (1:26.064-1:37.689) that just feel pretty overdone. The swing/flams rhythm also doesn't fit the song at all there. Highly recommend rethinking this little section a bit as it stands out from the rest.

1:58.971 & 1:59.814 & 1:59.908 [FR]: Bad copy paste from the earlier iteration.

Chart is fine. While there are non-trivial elements that aren't ideal (the muddy abstraction at 1:01.689-1:24.846 and the lengthy easy/underlayered parts), overall it's a decent chart and provides a fair amount of tasteful abstractions for the most part. The js with the jumpjacks motif is fun and gives it some structure. Won't FR on the underlayering given that as a regular chart, it works well enough and if the OT people say it's fine for OT, then it should be. Do fix the copy paste though at the very least.

Eternal Horizons (Lights & basicdrummerman) [7/10] [Fixes Required]

- Perms, metadata, sync are good

- Difficulty credit only shows Lights, without basicdrummerman. Are you trying to steal the spotlight?

**0.000-12.189 - As a whole note sync here is massively off and is extremely noticable while playing as well

*15.189-16.127 - Very weird PR here, suggest double checking this again

24.314-24.439 - Ghost notes

*29.221 - Incorrect placement, should be 29.283

*29.439-30.189 - Weird change in structure for this part. It doesn't really make sense

42.189-43.314 - What's the motif with the hands here?

49.314-49.689 - Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh, why don't you keep it to graces?

55.314-55.689 - ^

**1:01.689-1:34.814 - Same issue as the intro, but here it's lot more better. There are still a few off sync notes that need to be adjusted

1:48.283, 1:48.846 - Ghost notes

1:58.971, 1:59.814, 1:59.908 - Ghost notes & jump

Same similar gripes on the main chorus with notes 42.189-43.314 & 49.314-49.689, 55.314-55.689

This file is super conflicting for me. Generally it's... okay, but there are a few abstracted elements that I do not find making sense with this song. The second pre-chorus feels pretty blurred with its abstraction to the vocals and it's very difficult to catch a grasp on it. I agree with Oppie's comment for 1:26.064-1:37.689 which also addresses my concern of the 24th sections being overdone and unfitting. There are a few more additive parts that also felt pretty blurry to the vocals.

It's a tough one, but since they don't exactly hinder the performance of this file too much, it sits at the very bottom barrier of an Accept rating for me.

CR for *, and FR for **. Review the notes and it should be good to go.

Deam:

24.314-24.439 - i promise those arent ghost notes.

29.439 - increased instrumental intensity here felt too important to ignore, but i also couldnt get away with using 48ths otherwise it'd turn into a huge spice. this is the happy medium i found and i don't seen any good alternatives to do what im trying to do.

42.189-43.314 - super impactful sounds happening here (vocals, guitar, and bass all the the same time) in addition to the guitar being like an octave higher. it warrants the stronger emphasis provided by the hands

49.314-49.689 - addressed this first instance, kept the repeated instance the same to retain the intensity

1:48.283, 1:48.846 - vocal sustains through here, so i kept the 16ths going. i can see how this comes off as being part of the instrumentals, so ive tweaked the coloring.

you didnt list anything specific but i touched up the second pre-chorus as well.

Oppiie:

1:01.689-1:24.846 - While i understand this concern, i really like the dynamic introduced by having such a stark contrast in difficulty from the soft villager singing and the more upbeat "DOOM" and rock music sections. its not ideal for the difficulty curve of the file, but its a creative liberty i stand behind.

1:27.377, 1:27.939-1:28.689, 1:29.346, etc. - i overhauled this section a bit as per deams note, your notes here are either addressed or no longer applicable. It still retains relatively the same approach, but gets a bit closer to hitting the mark i had in mind. truthfully this is a challenging section to vocal dump- it just kinda sucks and its unexpressive. i ask you cut me a bit of slack here.

General note: added coloring to the intro vocals because that stuff is off-time as heck. villager doesnt know what a metronome is. I DOUBLE CHECKED THE SYNC AFTER THE RECOLORIZER THIS TIME.

FR notes resolved. Before this is good to go:

The change at the intro with an added color theory don't really make it an improvement. Personally think regular colors fit better there.

*15.189-16.127 - This note is still relevant. This jump order is exactly used in 16.690-17.627 which make this feel even weirder.

*19.565 - This 12th note addition seems pretty unnecessary and startles the flow of this section.

*1:08.768 - Off-sync. Feels like a 48th/96th.

1:22.033 - What is this note going to?

*1:22.127-1:22.315 - PR, swap these jumps

*1:48.190-1:48.838 - ?? Why the grey notes here?

Aside from the notes, solid work on improving the file, especially with the second half (when the doom guy is singing). Make sure the notes aboves are addressed and it should be good to go from there.

colors are staying as outlined in my DM to you.

*15.189-16.127 - slightly tweaked, its as good as its going to get

*19.565 - literally have no idea how that note got there

*1:48.190-1:48.838 - because they're still following vocals, but you guys complained when they were 16ths so now they arent 16ths. this is staying as-is.

final version, i politely but firmly decline further notes on this file. addressed most of what you had.
