Will Work For Food (Deamerai) [6.5/10]
>Permission good (CC BY-NC)
>Folder contents, metadata good
>Sync good
Ugh.
31.216, similar - sigh
37,990 - (subjective) You could maaayyyybe still keep the 24th motif you had going from eg. 25.603
1:26.377 - end - SIGH INTENSIFIES
I am very not enthused about this chart. While the lead up to the ending isn’t entirely trivial, the end difficulty spike is still overly obnoxious and overpowers the rest of the chart.
I understand what this is going for. But I am very much doubting there is an appreciative FFR audience for this. You might be able to nerf the end or find some more buffs in the rest of the chart to smooth out the difficulty curve. I just feel it’s too much of a spike as is.

Will Work for Food (Deamerai) [6/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK (Ever so slightly off though? Like 2-3ms late)
12.635 & 14.184 & etc: Strange layering decision to omit those, they're pretty loud and difficult to ignore. I guess it helps justify the layering of the louder hihat starting at 18.829 but it's still odd regardless.
16.829: The vocals precise sync is a bit vague, feels inconsistent during playthrough to have the mix of 16ths and 12ths. This particular note for example seems to be a 96th, right between the 16th and 12th.
24.829: This jack motif is pushing it. While it doesn't feel too bad to play, there's really nothing musically that justifies jacks. The vocals are on 24.893 and unclear after, the kick from the initial 4th isnt repeated, the percussions are noticeably different on the 16ths... Not great.
25.667: Maybe fine, although what this seems to go to is more subtle than the 16ths synth.
26.764: No jump?
26.893: The bleep bloops are actually 32nds at 26.909 & 27.006. Same for the other similar ones.
31.216: These are so spiky relative to the rest. Could easily mitigate that by moving the first note to the other hand and having it be justified by the hihat there.
37.990: No 24ths motif (or rather 16ths as per the previous comment) like at 25.603?
54.345: Missing note? See 1:00.538 too and others if any.
1:13.990: This trill's quantization is too off on all the notes. The first note has a bigger gap, and then there should be 1 less note to the rest of it.
1:26.700-1:10.700: No. This and the triplet 24ths dont justify each other. This is awfully patterned, at the fastest speed found in the chart, at the very end. There's no need for that.
Overall this chart is pretty confusing. The ending is very egregious and overly done. Unfortunately, given that the chart has a lot of repetition, a couple of the mentioned issues are applicable to multiple subsequent spots. There is a good attempt at keeping things interesting with the changes in "PR" for repeated sections, but it doesn't outweigh the concerns. This would need a decent amount of changes to make it suitable.

Op:
12.635 & 14.184 & etc - added
16.829 - adjusted to 96th
24.829 - i disagree. it's not really pushing it, and anything other than jacks make this look even more vague and musically unjustified - i tried
26.764 - there isn't a kick here
31.216 - partially disagree. this doesn't make sense with the song and is confusing when moved to a different hand
37.990 - correct, slightly different structure relative to the first one
54.345 - eh, feels not super worth to add when the attention is more to the vocals
1:13.990 - re-adjusted
1:26.700-1:30.700 - nerfed
Thanks for the notes. I'm surprised none commented on the 64th rollwall stuff. I've nerfed the ending to single notes. Hopefully this can be fine enough to get in now.
