divine strike [Heavy] (DossarLX ODI) [8/10] [Fixes Required]

- Metadata is partially good. Difficulty credit should be to your FFR username

- Permission linked is partially incorrect, but was later verified privately with additional sources and is now good

- **Sync is bad. Offset should be roughly -0.051 (It is -0.001 upon submission)

1:01.169 - Ghost note

1:22.076 - ^

Not much to say about this. It generally makes sense, and the difficulty is straightforward and fair. The only thing that irks me with this file is that it's not fully accenting PR in a few places such as the intro. FR on sync.

divine strike [Heavy] (DossarLX ODI) [7/10] -FR-

PERMS OK
SYNC NOT OK (Offset off by a whopping 50ms, timestamps will be adjusted to a -0.049 offset)

3.892-10.859: Should really be in sets of 2 (1 repeat per measure) instead of 4. So for example 4.853 should be different already.

9.658: Try not to change the pattern on the same hand, it has less impact. Also from here until the 16ths nothing should repeat.

11.580-15.424: Here while it's understandable that the jumps make it impossible to have exact repeats per half measure, there should at least be some kind of motif to not make the PR feel completely random. For example, every fourth 8th note could be the same column per measure (like 11.940 & 12.421 or 12.901 & 13.382, etc).

57.226: Could abstract this with 24ths instead, 16ths feel dull and samey.

1:01.773: This note is much less audible than 1:01.925. Either put both or add the latter one and remove this one.

1:09.642: PR wise starting the trills here instead of 1:09.762 doesn't really reflect the song. Same for 1:13.486.

1:15.077: No flam here.

1:28.501-1:32.344: That's the most Dossar-esque thing I've seen in a decade probably lmao. It's so randomly patterned, but there's honestly not a lot to do with what the song offers there and this keeps the intensity high. It's wack, but it's probably fine.

1:35.828: Either change the trill columns here or the pattern, it's too different PR from the previous ones. Could do 323232(14).

1:43.395: Would have more impact as a (13).

This chart really feels like a past era. While this approach is definitely not something that's common nowadays, it's still pretty justifiable for the most part. That being said, PR is super important with such streams because otherwise it just feels very random very fast. The chart brings a good amount of variety but maintains interesting motifs like the trills. FR for the sync and a solid PR check at least.

Checking in on the status of this submission, as it's past the 1 month probationary period with a "Fixes Required" flag, but there's been no acknowledgment of judge notes or fixes submitted.

Files/Songs with the "Fixes Required" tag require at a minimum a fix submitted based on the above notes from judges, or a response appealing the notes involved in the reason for it being labeled as Fixes Required.

I will check back on this at a later date. If it does not receive a response or fix by then, it could risk rejection.

Will leave a comment about the two judge reviews.

A new chart file was uploaded with the following changes:
----------
Offset changed: -0.001 => -0.051
----------
Hand Bias changed: 19 => 17

Update has the same notecount.

Changed offset to -0.051; I talked to Pizza69 about offset on a different file and it looks like convert from ogg to mp3 shifts the audio by around 50 milliseconds. Velocity also confirmed this theory, so this along with Healing-D-Universe have the same problem. (This is mainly a note for moving forward on future submissions).

1. Deamerai's review:

- Second 61.17 and Beat 319.25 / Second 82.08 addressed

2. Opkiller's review:

3.892-10.859: Should really be in sets of 2 (1 repeat per measure) instead of 4. So for example 4.853 should be different already.
- I changed this up to be in the sets of 2, and at second 11.58 I changed these to be anchor-type runningmen patterns, also in the structure of sets of 2.

57.226: Could abstract this with 24ths instead, 16ths feel dull and samey.
- I updated this to have a one-hand triplet and two flams on the left hand going into the jump to put more emphasis outside of the surrounding 8ths. I found that an alternative to the 24ths suggestion, as the backing hi-hats here are 32nds (likely something for [Oni]).

1:01.773: This note is much less audible than 1:01.925. Either put both or add the latter one and remove this one.
- Deamerai also mentioned this, I updated this part

1:09.642: PR wise starting the trills here instead of 1:09.762 doesn't really reflect the song. Same for 1:13.486.
- Updated to have the trills be 4 notes instead of 7 notes

1:15.077: No flam here.
- There is the quick blip but an alternative was turning this into a [34] jump, which I changed.

1:28.501-1:32.344: That's the most Dossar-esque thing I've seen in a decade probably lmao. It's so randomly patterned, but there's honestly not a lot to do with what the song offers there and this keeps the intensity high. It's wack, but it's probably fine.
- I smoothed out this section.

1:35.828: Either change the trill columns here or the pattern, it's too different PR from the previous ones. Could do 323232(14).
- Updated to 323232(14)

1:43.395: Would have more impact as a (13).

follow-up on this FR-flag? Is it good enough for DC Engine?

FR resolved, sync has been fixed.
