A new chart file was uploaded.

slic.hertz (keanny) [6.5/10]

PERMS OK
SYNC OK (Although BPM should probably be halved)

Given that this is your first submission, I will also provide more general notes. Hopefully they help you focus on what to improve and what's good.

1:580: Lets look at the layering in this section. Here, there is a kick and the melody, yet only a single note (not a jump). I seems at first like the intention is to have jumps on the snares (0.959, 1.993, etc). But then comes 4.476 with a jump; unclear why. And then another jump at 5.718. At that point it already starts to become blurry as to what the jumps layering goes to.

6.442: Here there's a jump on the 8th, but nothing prior to it justifies this jump.

13.373: In this section, it seems clear that the layering will include the vocals. Good.

19.580: Missing vocal note.

23.718: Great approximation of the drums here, it's not too hard but it represents it well.

26.097-26.511: Mistake here, wrong timings.

29.614: Missing note, kick.

33.545: Missing drum note.

40.269: This 192nds motif is a bit unintuitive; after some time I figured out that it was simply the drums and that the regular notes are the melody/solo. It's an interesting idea but it's pretty sudden and hard to justify compare to 1:09.028 where they're very clearly going to the scratch. That being said, maybe it could work if it was inverted and maybe even colored differently than white to contrast with the scratches later in the chart. There's a tool called the recolorizer that's pretty useful for these cases: https://www.flashflashrevolution.com/~velocity/ffrjs/recolor/ .

1:06.028: Ghost note.

1:10.476: Again watch out for layering. Here it's a jump, but then no other snare (with scratch) in the section has a jump to it.

1:25.890: Why just this snare in this section?

1:26.614: No jump?

1:37.373: Why jump?

1:42.649: Missing vocal note.

This chart is a solid first submission, honestly. It brings a well thought out balance to this easy approach and a unique coloring idea. However, the layering is quite lacking throughout and would really benefit from a good cleanup pass. Moreover, given that there is now already a chart ingame for this song, it unfortunately raises the bar a bit in terms of quality. That being said, while this isn't quite there yet, it could probably have its own spot given that the difficulty is much lower than the existing chart. Keep it up though, this is really promising!

> Permission check good.
> Sync looks good (No changes necessary).

- The BPM should probably be half of what it currently is. 290bpm is really fast and this isn't that fast of a song.

- If I'm correct in assume the jumps at 0:00.959 and 0:01.993 are for the snare, then there are a lot of missing notes. 0:01.269 and 0:01.476 Have softer snare hits which should probably have notes while 0:05.924 is a harder snare hit that gets no jump.

- 0:05.200 This not appears to be for the guitar, and yet similar notes like 0:01.890 and 0:06.855 are left uncharted.

- 0:23.718 Take a careful look at this drum rhythm. It doesn't directly fall on the beat like the notes here would suggest. In situations like this, you should try and line the notes up closer to the sounds. The rhythms here might look something like

- 0:27.028 I cant help but feel this section is a bit empty, and doesn't really capture the vibe of the music. The song has a lot of different 8th notes going on, while in the music it mostly focuses on the 4ths. Compare this to the last section, which did a good job incorporating those elements into the chart.

- 0:40.269 Why choose to use color theory here? Other sections similarly choose to mainly follow a single instrument but dont feel the need to highlight it over the other sounds in the song. The method of highlighting is also unintiutive, leading most players to thing the white notes are whats being highlighted instead of what should be ignored. While a nice idea, i just dont think it worked.

This chart has a few different major issues. 1) there are a LOT of different missing notes. too many to be accepted in its current state. 2) There are numerous occasions where notes are misplaced or the rhythms of the song aren't accurately represented by the notes. 3) The chart doesn't always do the best job of following the right sounds in the music. Some sections feel underlayered compared to others.

While i think this is a great starting point for a new charter, The file itself fails to meet the quality standards expected of FFR
