Rapid Firecannon (Storn42) [9/10]
- Perms, metadata, sync are good
19.564-19.872 - For the drums?
1:18.179, 1:18.795, 1:20.026, 1:21.256, etc - Why hand here?
2:21.564 - Should be [12]. Compare 2:16.641
2:56.179-2:56.487 - Missing jumpjacks, compare 3:01.102-3:01.410 & 3:06.026-3:06.333
3:16.872 - Missing note? Alternatively, is 3:26.718 ghost note?
Pretty straightforward file. The layering choice feels pretty weird to me here, but it's consistent throughout.

Rapid Firecannon (Storn42) [7.5/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
10.026: Jump? Loud guitar.
11.718: Already the layering of this chart is quite muddy. The contrast between the guitar and the drums 16ths isn't the best and it makes it feel all over the place. This example (the repeated 21's, first being for the drums and second for the guitar) is just a random one out of many.
17.649: Missing note, drum.
42.102: Missing note, guitar.
1:03.102: Missing note. The intent of these pauses is nice, but this note could probably be included. See also 1:30.179, 1:32.641 and possibly other places. Fine as is though.
3:13.718: A single here would be nice.
3:52.026: Bit odd to not layer the guitar only in this final small section, especially when it's much clearer here than other places where it was layered.
This is alright. The nature of the song with this layering scheme makes a significant part of it a fair bit unintuitive and feel slightly generic in terms of rhythm and PR, but for the most part the consistency is good and the intensity matches the song well enough.

@Deam
19.564-19.872 - For the drums?
- correct
1:18.179, 1:18.795, 1:20.026, 1:21.256, etc - Why hand here?
- vocal + snare = hand
2:21.564 - Should be [12]. Compare 2:16.641
- yea that [13] jumps are out of place. fixed
2:56.179-2:56.487 - Missing jumpjacks, compare 3:01.102-3:01.410 & 3:06.026-3:06.333
- fixed.
3:16.872 - Missing note? Alternatively, is 3:26.718 ghost note?
- if 3:16.872 is a note, i cant hear it, while i can definitely hear 3:26.718.
@OP
10.026: Jump? Loud guitar.
- there is a sound, but i dont think it makes sense to add a jump with my layering scheme.
11.718: Already the layering of this chart is quite muddy. The contrast between the guitar and the drums 16ths isn't the best and it makes it feel all over the place. This example (the repeated 21's, first being for the drums and second for the guitar) is just a random one out of many.
- In an ideal world there wouldn't be overlap with the pattern, but sadly we only have 4 keys. However i did try to differentiate them with a 3 note trill for guitar where possible, and avoiding the trill for drums where possible.
17.649: Missing note, drum.
- purposely omitted to highlight the guitar solo.
42.102: Missing note, guitar.
- added
1:03.102: Missing note. The intent of these pauses is nice, but this note could probably be included. See also 1:30.179, 1:32.641 and possibly other places. Fine as is though.
- I dont hear anything worth adding here.
3:13.718: A single here would be nice.
- I understand the idea, but it technically still needs to be a jump for the guitar.
3:52.026: Bit odd to not layer the guitar only in this final small section, especially when it's much clearer here than other places where it was layered.
- I thought about it initially, but with how muted it is, and the fact its only in 1 channel, it felt like a better idea to focus on the drums instead.
