Steel Master Spark (Hateandhatred + Kommisar) [6/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC MOSTLY OK (Off by roughly 12ms)
Metadata is wrong, audio file incorrectly linked to the sm file.
24.225 & 24.388: These 32nds don't seem to go to anything noticeable that would warrant such spikes. Same applies to the other iterations.
24.590: Aren't the slides here much more prevalent than whatever is at 24.388? It's odd to have the 32nds there but here nothing follows the much clearer slides.
25.401: Check for PR. This one for example should probably not be the same jump as 25.239.
33.408: This sounds like it should be straight 24ths from the 4th (at 33.347) to the 8th.
36.590: Only iteration without a hand on the crash.
39.509: It feels a bit odd that this part is charted the same as 34.320 for example given that this iteration has very slidy melody notes and the previous one doesn't.
46.320: No hand here?
1:01.807: Even with loud volume and trying multiple speeds, this is the only minijack that seems to be a real one in this section.
1:17.050: Missing note.
1:38.942: Ghost note.
1:49.239-1:56.374: Quite spiky, some of the patterning isn't too friendly but it's not major.
1:56.617: Few things here, this specific note should not be on col 4, and also the jack is much too spiky for the chart. At most this could be a 4-notes long jack from the 4th and the hand at 1:57.023 should be a (123).
2:09.185: Watch out for unjustified anchors, here there's a 14 notes anchor on col 1.
2:17.455: Unwarranted 10 notes OHT on the left hand.
Most of the above notes repeat in the second half so do check that too.
Overall neat chart on the consistency despite some rigid choices in the layering. However there are a few structural issues that make the general balance of the chart a bit off; the harder/denser sections aren't necessarily the most intense in the song for example. The song has great elements though and with a good amount of fixes and a decent polish this could make for a lovely file. Would encourage a big cleanup and resubmission because the foundation is there.

Steel Master Spark (Hateandhatred & Kommisar) [7.5/10] [Fixes Required]
- Perms are good
- **Sync is mostly okay? I've noticed at some parts while playing downrates that the sync is not 100% accurate, double check this
- Metadata is incorrect - .sm file is pointing out to an .ogg file when it should to the .mp3. Fix this.
0:25.725, 0:28.320, 0:30.915, 0:33.185 - Ghost jumps
0:23.861, 0:25.158, 0:26.455, 0:27.753, 0:29.050 etc - Guitar noise here, kinda wish there was a representation to that too
0:33.509 - Sounds like a 0:33.523 instead
*0:33.966-0:41.780 - I don't quite get the motif of the JS here. What's it going to?
1:01.401-1:02.455 - Hmm, interesting. There isn't a sound that calls for continous minijacks but at the same time I don't mind it
**1:16.807-1:17.942 - This section is inconsistent with the sections that are upcoming after that (ex: 1:19.401-1:20.536, 1:21.996-1:23.131 etc)
1:25.888-1:36.266 - This section is cool
1:51.185-1:51.834 - Oof that transition is quite rough
**1:56.617-1:57.023 - Just no. That jack is too long and difficult
1:59.455, 2:04.645 - Why jumps here? You didn't do this in 1:25.888-1:36.266
2:12.266-2:12.590 - No 16ths here?
*2:17.780-2:25.563 - See 0:33.966-0:41.780
2:27.509-2:27.834 - Different drum, could vary up this section
2:47.942, 2:48.266 - Ghost jumps
3:22.158, 3:24.753, 3:27.347 - Ghost jumps
Ending is kinda tricky to do with 3:19.726-3:19.969 and 3:31.239-3:31.401. I largely don't have an issue with them (perhaps only with the 4 note jack, since it's the only instance that happens in the file) but because they are at the ending, I imagine many are gonna trip on them and as a result cry over the file.
Pretty fun file. Kinda reminds me of St. Scarhand in nature. For many of my notes I highly advise to apply the changes for misnaps, sync, pattern consistency and clearance of ghosts. FR for ** notes.
For the notes with *, I'd like to understand more the intent behind the continous JS there. If it goes to the guitar, it is technically not correct.
