Apocynthion Drive (Kommisar) [5.5/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
A definite Stepmania classic this one. Unfortunately I simply cannot accept this for FFR even in this day and age haha. The difficulty curve makes most of the chart pretty much trivial relative to 2-3 short spikes (especially over this long of a song length), which is a structural concern that is important for FFR. There probably are ways to balance it out while keeping things tasteful, here are some ideas/more specific concerns (not exhaustive at all):
2.467-23.800: Could have a heavier layering by using jumps even on the 16ths for the bass. This would allow the next section (starting at 23.800) to layer more drums with 8ths singles while still not drowning the melody.
50.200: Here there could be something for those descending synths to kind of fade out the massive difficulty spike of the 24ths.
1:04.200: In the section starting here, there could be either flams for the melody given the sound, or even short 24ths. That would also distinguish it from the earlier sections in the intro.
1:18.067: Here there'd be enough leeway to layer all those colored notes as jumpgluts for example, as there are two voices.
1:22.733: There could also be a much heavier layering here with such a stabby and loud sound.
So yeah really there's a lot that can be done with this song but as is it's probably never gonna go ingame due to the mix of very sparse high difficulty spikes and song length.

>Permission uncertain, details below
>Folder contents, metadata good. Remove subtitle
>Sync mostly good
So this is kind of an awkward situation.
In short, permission for this song hasn’t been verified. The best that has been found is confirming this artist’s permission only for Ultrasounds! as shown on our permission sheet. If you can provide more/better permission info/proof for HertzDevil songs outside of Ultrasounds!, please post it in the permission thread/
I started messaging people to work out permission issues on batch files while this batch was open. I missed this one. My bad.
I’ll write some judge notes. But I’d mostly be repeating what has already been said on this. It doesn’t appear to have many substantial changes based on the previous notes. You can find the old notes in these 3 posts

55.667 - 57.400 - yeesh
57.400 - ???
1:47.133 - ???
2:12.081 - ???
These sync issues should either get fixed or recolorized to appropriate rhythms.
4:31.010 - 4:38.477 - yeesh
5:18.477 - 5:22.744 - No. Nerf this.
Chart kind of alternates between uninteresting/repetitive and way too hard. If it were ~half this length or less you could focus on some of the more interesting parts and cut out a lot of filler. It would still then likely still need some nerfs.
