In The End (Storn42) [8/10]

PERMS OK
SYNC OK

59.676: Good example of a vocal note that's quite off from the normalized 16ths. This should probably be a 12th on 59.723 for effect or could also be dicksync'd to the middle 96th. Same applies for 1:08.819 & 2:03.676.

1:12.961: Missing note. Same for 2:07.819.

1:42.199: While this is understandably one of the most noticeably off vocal note (from the 16ths), it's super odd to have just this one note have "precise sync". With the suggestion for 59.676 etc it'd at least look less of an outlier.

2:08.533: Also missing note but arguable I guess.

Straightforward chart. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad either. The layering is engaging and the vocals are relatively well represented.

In the End (feat. Arin Hanson) (storn42) [7/10]

- Perms, metadata, sync are good

Intro-0:16.676 - Meh, those grey notes are more of a nuisance than an additional 'flavor' to the intro. I don't see why not just stick to the piano only
0:23.247-0:23.390 - Mirror placements? The 16th makes more sense on 3 than the 8th note, matches better with the vocal
0:32.390 - For the drum?
0:42.104 - Ghost?
0:59.676, 1:08.866 - They sound more like 12ths than 16ths
^ This also happens on the second chorus
1:12.961, 2:07.819 - Missing note
1:22.961 - Why still [134]? The vocal changes here, so I'd imagine an alternating hand
1:27.390-1:27.961 - Three 16ths on the same column, would suggest alternating the latter to a different column

Song itself started off strong but when the chorus came in became pretty meh.

Anyway, the mix with the drums, piano and vocals overall play kind of weird in the file, but not enough to bar it from being accepted. The ending also really draaaaaaaaaaags.

A new chart file was uploaded with the following changes:
----------
Note Count changed: 812 => 815
AVG NPS changed: 5.34562 => 5.36537
Hand Bias changed: 16 => 15

- Adjusted 59.676 & 1:08.819 to land on the 12th. 2:03.676 very much sounds like it starts exactly on the 16th. I love syncing vocals

1:12.961: Missing note. Same for 2:07.819.

- i think the note being earlier just made it more obvious to me than it being late. eitherway, the earlier notes have been synced so this shouldn't stand out as much.

2:08.533: Also missing note but arguable I guess

@Deamerai

Intro-0:16.676 - Meh, those grey notes are more of a nuisance than an additional 'flavor' to the intro. I don't see why not just stick to the piano only
- i simply disagree. The white notes give an interesting rhythm that isn't just straight 4ths. I also feel the notes help at the end of the song so when its ONLY piano it is contrasted by the section which had other sounds and notes.

0:23.247-0:23.390 - Mirror placements? The 16th makes more sense on 3 than the 8th note, matches better with the vocal
- the 34 pattern is intentional to draw a bigger gap between the 8th/16th and the 4th. If it were 43[12] it would look like a grace and imply a vocal note on the 4th, which doesn't exist.

0:32.390 - For the drum?
- no, but lets say it is so the vocal doesn't have a strange rhythm.

0:42.104 - Ghost?
- nope. This section adds in the piano from the begginig (same pattern too)

0:59.676, 1:08.866 - They sound more like 12ths than 16ths
^ This also happens on the second chorus
- fixed in the 1st chorus. 2nd is closer to 16ths.

1:12.961, 2:07.819 - Missing note
- added

1:22.961 - Why still [134]? The vocal changes here, so I'd imagine an alternating hand
- I believe the guitar chord is the same chord, but changes on the [123]

1:27.390-1:27.961 - Three 16ths on the same column, would suggest alternating the latter to a different column
- that is intentional to emphasise the syncopation of the vocals.
