Blanket for DDR XX, see https://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz/showthread.php?t=154101
After asking Marten (a lead for the DDR XX project) we should be good to use songs that were released as part of the events in that songpack.

Genre is Nightmare Fuel.

Lots of jack and one handed control in this one. Ending has very difficult 16th minijack spiraling patterns at 255 BPM.

Offset is incorrect by 23ms (should be -3.505), timestamps given are ones with the new offset applied.

Would honestly prefer a cut in the intro because there's a lot of downtime in this chart. I get that it's meant to create some dissonance in the player by deliberately flouting PR for the vocals, but I don't think it's necessary to expound that point for about 25 seconds overall.

* 28.387 to 33.828 - don’t really agree with the gallops as a buildup, mostly because there aren’t any notable cues that would justify gallops. I somewhat get when the stream starts on an intuitive level, but the gallops I’ve definitely had issues grasping for sure
- 44.932 - shouldn't be a single
- 46.638 - missing 16th?
- 53.653 - can't really hear anything that would justify a 16th
- 54.133/etc. - I'd remove the 32nd here, there is a faint sound here, but I personally wouldn't include it
- 56.927 to 57.045 - the 16ths here don't seem as shrill as the 5-note 16ths before them, so I'm not sure if you should include them here
- 1:03.927/1:03.339 - the minijacks make some sense because they go to the vocals, but the vocal staggers aren't very notable, and I wouldn't include them as minijacks because of that. the minijacks make more sense later on in the song, but the ones here feel a bit on the heavy side, when the chart is actually quite light in comparison up to this point. in contrast, the minijack at 1:06.515 and maybe 1:08.398 seems fine, since it's not being overwhelmed by other percussion
* 1:17.810/1:18.515/1:19.221 - kinda mean to have anchors only on column 1 and column 4 respectively, I'd suggest varying up the column bias because it feels really uneven as is, especially since it's dissonant compared to the vocals present here (though the dissonance is somewhat intentional -- it's more jarring here than with the 48ths though)
- 1:49.801 - lmao this is really funny. I personally don't mind this pattern much, but you're basically hitting a 4-note 12th jack on column 1 and there's already a lot of strain on column 1 as is. I don't know how much you can change this because the chart is very deliberately structured, but I think some lenience can be allowed if patterns spike too much
- 1:59.272 - ghost note? or at least it's muddled too much by the percussion to layer
* 2:02.997 to 2:07.487 - this is a bit much. I can hit this section kinda fluently, but it does feel like a notable spike compared to the rest of the chart (including 1:49.801, which the second half of what I've pointed out is basically that multipled by 6), and I think it'd be really frustrating for players to hit through. There are ways of toning this down that you likely already know (like alternating hands across 4 columns instead of what you have), but I think it goes against your chart's intentions in some way. I'd still point it out regardless because this will be a point of frustration for players
- 2:10.980 to 2:11.392 - I like the idea of the burst at the end tbh, but I don't think trills are the right pattern to do it; trills are quite sharp in terms of pattern feel, and this sound is quite airy in comparison

I kinda appreciate this chart in a really twisted sense; the chart is structured in a very deliberate way that I've practically never seen before, and I can see people finding some novelty in this approach, but in general, I feel that this chart might be a bit too frustrating and gimmicky overall for higher-level players to enjoy. The one-hand trilly patterns are a bit much overall, though it's mitigated by the fact that most of it is present on one hand (so it's mirrorable), but the minijacks and runningmen as a whole I do feel are a bit excessive in terms of how they're patterned, and I think the song just doesn't fit for a very balanced difficulty curve and overall enjoyable experience. The chart is definitely different though, and I can see what you're doing for the most part, so kudos to that -- I just don't think it would appeal much to the modern FFR player's palate and certainly not for official tournaments.

---------------
- Permission, metadata good.
** Sync is significantly early, change offset -3.482 -> -3.505. Timestamps given with this change made.

* General note: The cyan vocals should definitely be PR'd.
* 28.387-33.828: I find this buildup very confusing. It's exceedingly hard to hear what the gallop 16ths go to in this, and the start of it feels strangely empty. It's hard to tell where the unbroken 16ths should start as well, though I may suggest beginning them at 33.592 instead to mark the start of the "slice your soul" phrase.
- 47.932, 49.579: Yellow anchor doesn't make musical sense here.
- 54.133, 55.780, etc.: This is a pretty subtle sound, please move it off of the same column with the preceding jack. (The jack is quite tenuous in any case and could definitely use less emphasis in the chart.)
- 62.868 minijumpjack: [23] instead of [13]?
- 63.339, 70.280, etc.: I get why you'd want a minijack here, but the sound persists for this whole 16th burst and the emphasis is hence extremely uneven. I'd suggest a straight 16th OHT with no minijack.
- 68.398: It's extremely hard to discern why there's a minijack here at full rate.
- 76.045: Suggest [12]4. This jumptrill pattern is rough and the last jump is not the same sound as the previous two.
- 109.271: Suggest column 2 for difficulty moderation.
- 119.212-119.683: The 16ths here are really hard for me to discern, I think these should be removed or nerfed since they make the left hand pattern extremely difficult.
- 130.980: lol

** The minijacks at the ending are very, very spiky and could use some adjustments.
- 109.801: needs to be nerfed (maybe https://i.imgur.com/l9PW6m2.png or something similar)
- 117.448 and 117.918: I can't hear these minijacks.
- 118.271, 120.918: Suggest something more akin to 108.448, the sound is similar but it plays a lot nicer.
- 122.271: Ouch. Definitely get this minijack off column 1; these minijacks should probably be nerfed in general because they're really rough to hit with the staggered rhythms.
* 122.997-124.585: This is truly ridiculous. There are a lot of patterns with two consecutive minijacks on the same hand, and minijacks are a bit tenuous for this sound in general; I'd prefer just a super anchory/OHT-y stream here. This would still fit with the themes of your file (the middle particularly) while being much, much more in line with the rest of the file to hit.
- 125.091 and 125.208: Also fairly tenuous as minijacks.
- 125.385: The 12th jacks could use a nerf too, patterning-wise. 3-note jacks are fine, but you'll want to make sure you don't have two on the same hand in a row. 126.797 should not be on the same column as the 8th anchor, and 127.189 should probably be reduced from a 4-note jack to a 3-note jack.

- Wow the vocals in this song are really grating. I think the chart actually has quite a bit of charm though; the anchor section starting at 77.809 is very unusual, but fits well and is very memorable. That said, the ending is absurdly spiky with all the minijacks and those need heavy, heavy nerfs. It'll need some touching-up, but I encourage you to resubmit this because it could make for a very interesting file. [6/10]
