Document 13b v2 (Ultimate Mike7) [4.5/10]

PERMS OK
SYNC OK

0.000-6.830: This whole intro is very offsync with the lyrics and has a couple of ghost/missing notes.

4.130: Ghost note, lyrics are "does not" on the 4th and 8th.

4.431 & 4.531: Very off (too early) and probably better as 12ths.

8.431: Pretty calm for jumps on that instrument. Seems like the intention was to layer the vocals with the melody, but it doesn't work because the vocals are just too off from the 8ths quantization.

9.431: Why a jump here?

25.030: So rough and sudden relative to how easy and calm it is so far. Arguable though given that it's used a few times so there's some consistency there.

29.497: No 12th here, should be on the 8th.

58.730-59.030: These don't quite work with the music; the 4th at 58.830 should have the last burst, not the following 16th.

1:05.630-1:16.830: There's no coherence to the 8ths PR/motif here.

This chart has some neat motifs here and there, but there are too many structural and technical issues with it. The song has a whole lot of downtime, so layering the drums so heavily with jump/handgluts and having those rollwalls just contrasts poorly and makes more than half the chart feel like filler. There are also a fair bunch of PR/consistency issues with the 8ths for the most part and with some layering in general. This will have to go back to the drawing board unfortunately.

Document 13b v2 (Ultimate Mike7) [6/10]

- Perms, metadata, sync are good

Intro-0:12.860 - It's weird that you layer both the vocal and the sound together here, it plays awkward. I think focus on one thing only there.
0:12.860 - Why hand?
0:15.260 - Why [134] and not [124] like the previous one?
0:23.260 & 0:24.645 - Why [13]? This should be [23]
0:25.630-0:37.630 - Why keep doing anchors here? I can't hear anything here that would merit anchors. Many sounds go to different directions while you keep stepping them on the same column
0:40.630 - Jump? This should be at 0:40.730
0:41.730 - No jump?
0:42.030 - Why jump?
0:44.330 - Missing jump?
0:50.230 - Should be different column? Based on 0:43.830 you did place it on a different column
0:50.630-0:50.730 & 0:50.930 - No jumps?
0:51.030 - Ghost jump?
0:52.930-0:53.530 & 0:54.630-0:54.830 - What's going on with the gluts here?
0:53.730 - Missing jump?
0:58.630-0:59.030 - The bursts here are off, feels weird why it's delayed like that
0:59.830 - Why [124]?
0:59.930 - Missing note?
1:00.430-1:00.730 - Gluts??
1:01.730 - No jump?
1:05.630-1:16.830 - PR here is wrong and I'm not sure why constantly change the columns that quick
1:27.097 - Missing 24th here
1:32.230 - Should be on 2
1:32.830-1:43.830 - After the note above I'm noticing much more instances where the placements are incorrect and doesn't follow the sounds accordingly. Double check this
1:48.030 - Would advise changing it to [134] for better swing
1:49.830 - Why [23] and not [12]?
1:52.030-1:53.030 - Maybe color theorize this?
1:53.230-1:53.430 - Ghost notes
1:57.230 - Why jump?
2:01.130 - ^
2:00.830 - Why hand?
2:02.330 - Ghost note?
2:10.630 - Why hand?
2:14.030 & next note - Missing jump?
2:16.330 - Ghost note
2:22.630-2:33.630 - Refer to 1:32.830-1:43.830
2:33.930 - Ghost note
2:35.830 & next jump - This tick is incredibly subtle, why step this as a jump?
2:35.630-2:36.830 - In general this entire section plays dense while that part is incredibly subtle & chill, revise this. You can probably give up on the grace notes.
2:37.830 & 2:38.030 & etc in the gluts - Why suddenly hands here? this makes the patterns more tough to handle
2:42.130 - Why jump?
2:45.630 & 2:46.030 - Focus on giving them the same jump placements. In general I would advise to shift this to [12][134][12] for better flow

This file has mad potential, but it has lots of technical errors and weird layering mixes that need to be ironed out.
