Dit Liedje Is Nee (Vexacen) [5/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
First of all this is a brave attempt, because this song Really does not offer much to work with in terms of making a varied or interesting chart. That being said, there are elements that cannot be ignored that make the chart a bit too lacking to meet the threshold. Here are some examples and notable points:
- The PR is very inconsistent in the sections where the melody is clear, for example 1:43.501-1:52.035.
- Sections like 2:38.968 where there are clear 16ths but the synth is fully ignored; given the difficulty of the main chunk of the chart, places like this should absolutely try to maximize layering (within reason) to avoid having so much filler.
- In the jumpgluts part, there should be a best effort to have some sort of motif the player can hold onto, otherwise it feels very generic and arbitrary. For example 41.635 vs 42.168, these jumps should reflect the melody as much as possible, because the other jumps inbetween are necessarily somewhat random due to going to the hard kicks (which is fine). With that same logic, the section starting at 52.301 should have Something to help distinguish it from the section just before it, because the song changed a bit. Same applies to the next distinct parts of this whole jumpgluts section.
- Watch out for unjustified long anchors like the column 4 at 56.701 for example.
Good attempt overall, but this doesn't quite cut it unfortunately and the song really makes charting this a serious challenge.

- Perms, sync are good
- Credit field is credited to the author of the song instead of the stepartist. Typically the Credit field is used to credit the stepartist and not the song author
0:17.923-0:18.023 - Both of those notes aren't correct, there is one note for the final word and it should be placed at the middle of both (remove both, and add a note to 0:17.979)
^ In general, the entire part of this vocal sync (0:17.212-0:18.023) is not very on-sync. Check on downrates what sounds off, and adjust the notes from there.
0:34.279-0:34.990 - Same point as above ^ as well as missing note on 0:34.857
0:35.235-1:09.368 - I'm noticing some parts that have formed anchors that serve no merit, such as at 0:47.768-0:48.301 & 0:56.701-0:57.368 & 1:00.568-1:01.368 & 1:06.301-1:06.835 etc.. Pay attention to them and possibly break them so there won't be any anchors that stand out in the section
1:24.568-1:25.235 etc - Same point as above ^
2:01.635, 2:03.768, 2:04.301 & etc - Seems like it would be a great call to place jumps there
2:17.635-2:34.746 - This feels soooooo janky and deceivingly difficult to hit when the 16th hands come, which brings the debate if adding all those 48th graces to the gabber kicks is worth it?
2:38.968-2:43.235 & 2:47.501-2:51.768 - Why no 16ths here?
The file has quite decent ideas, and overall it *is* kinda decent, but also not that interesting. I don't agree with the addition of the 48ths to the gabber kicks as they're too extra. The 32nd streams in gabber kicks during the glut sections are an interesting addition, but I could argue that those are also unnecessary. The structure & note placements fundementally still need some work.
