Hardcore Megamix (Deamerai) [7/10] -FR-
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
I'll preface this by saying I played it multiple times on various rates from 0.6 to 1.0. The concerns mentioned regarding the patterning felt relevant regardless of the rate.
1.633: Consider 4 (12) 341 (23) to keep the consistency with the previous 4 (12) 3.
3.548: Bit rude. (34)21 would give some breathing room to the left hand.
4.877: PR of both the drums and the rising vocals would suggest 14 instead of 41.
5.675-6.101: This part is messy and doesn't reflect the song too well.
6.526-6.952: Would expect similar burst styles here, not splitroll into normal triplet rolls. Consider something like 32143 432 432 (14).
7.590: Very awkward to play. Transitions into it with jumptrilling, but the 3(14) 16ths out of it basically force a proper roll in an already dense section which is super spiky. Moreover, this specific roll is patterned the same as 8.016 & 8.441 which are very distinct.
8.228: Another weird 2(14) transition out of a roll.
9.824: Missing note, doesn't sound like a justified omission. Definitely requires re-patterning what follows though. 10.037 could be simplified to a flam of some sort for example to alleviate, since it differs a lot from the other 32nds stuff.
11.792: This transitions badly to the split roll; the left hand is basically doing a medium trill since 11.367 and is hit with a minijack transition into a small other trill.
12.337: Ghost note.
16.739: Missing note.
21.899: Missing note.
24.733: 12ths here not 16ths. (blue-pink-pink-blue) Could probably do the same at 25.282 but keepîng the 4th in there, although that one is less clear so maybe 16ths are fine.
27.494: This is super awkward on the left hand, simply moving to (34) removes the odd 2(12)1(12) motion on the left.
27.910: Could break the anchor-y col 1 by moving to 2.
28.945: Bit odd omitting this given that it's one of the only repeating elements of the song, going with 25.628 and the other jumpjacks.
29.909: Ughhh.
31.418: Should be a 12th on 31.441.
32.315: The (14)(23) sound stops at the 8th before this; continuing it for the sake of layering the kick feels odd. Something like 12(34)(34)(12)(12) would make it easier to distinguish the two, or just underlayering the last one like (14)(23)(14)(23)1.
34.318: The burst starts here pretty loudly.
The energy of the chart certainly matches the song, however there currently are too many things that make it play like an arbitrary gauntlet of harshly patterned 32nds bursts. While the difficulty is pretty balanced, there is a lack of motif that justifies the awkward patterning throughout, and a good amount of things to fix for a song this short. The notes are a bit picky, but there's quite a lot of polishing and minor fixes to be done for which a CR would be too generous; giving this FR for a good cleanup because the overall structure and balance is there.

Hardcore Megamix (Deamerai) [7.5/10]
>Permission good (Blanket)
>Folder contents, metadata good
>Sync good
13.282 - surprised to have nothing here but kind of makes sense
16.739 - surprised to have nothing here (is louder than .313) but kind of makes sense
21.899 - surprised to have nothing here (“it” syllable)
35.432 - (very subjective) add a note here so it ends on more of a downbeat feel
Could have cut the .mp3 lol, which could reinforce my last subjective note
Jeezus. Okay.

I don't understand the FR flag for this. The entire point of this file is to be awkward and excessive to play (no manip BS) that pushes its difficulty for a short song like this. So this is expected.
This has gone through many smooth ups prior to a state where this should be relatively okay for D8 players to score on with maybe a few trippy spots. Smoothening the awkward pattering lowers and defeats the purpose of this file, which is to be a grind4 esque file for D8 players.

I believe a good amount of concerns with justification were provided. While it's ok to some extent to force meaner patterns, there are still a bunch of things to fix for such a short file. Feel free to discuss specific notes; this will get out of FR once the cleanup is done and/or the notes are clarified. Just brushing it all off with "it's meant to be rude" doesn't cut it.
