Winter 2022 Seasonal Batch
PublicEvents
Released
released on both Bitcrusher and sociopath recordings under CC license. If this is not enough i'm sure it would be possible to contact for explicit permission assuming we don't have it for these two sites.
Not a huge amount to say other than i'm not 100% sure i'm happy with the very ending section so would be open to suggestions there. I am very keep to one day have a chart on FFR so feedback is appreciated and i'm open to any modifications. :)

As discussed in DMs, artist permission cannot be verified (CC BY-NC-ND 3.0 is not an FFR-usable license). Moving to reject. DM me if permission status changes by the end of the month.

Mario Love Breakcore
--------------------
- Unfortunately the CC license this uses (CC-BY-NC-ND 3.0) is not viable for FFR permissions, and so this is rejected without review.

Permission was obtained - https://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz/showpost.php?p=4789826&postcount=446

Putting back to unjudged for now. Don't know yet when we'll get you proper judge notes, but at least the permission is good.

Mario Love Breakcore (Hairy Cabbage) [6.5/10]

- Perms, metadata are good

- Sync is slightly questionable in a few places due to the amount of BPM changes. I recommend double checking this again.

0:07.415 Minijack - PR? Should be on 1 technically
0:09.115 - Supposed to be a different column, such as 1? Compare 0:05.915
0:17.214 24th rolls - Technically 32nds but I can see why you do 24ths maybe?
0:18.014-0:18.633 - Those notes are not on sync with the voice. Double check. On a glance it sounds like simple 32nds (and with the last one being a 48th due to the change in bpm)
0:25.615-0:27.722 - Not quite sure why the BPM fluctuations here. It also makes that section off sync a bit
0:38.895, 0:39.495 - Additive. You don't do this with the ones prior
**0:40.820 - This is rough, and a spike on the right hand
0:42.845 - Ghost note?
0:43.620 - Should be on [13]
**0:45.620-0:46.820 - This transitions REALLY bad. Getting from the graced mix of 16ths and 24ths to this section makes it highest spike in the file. Nerf them to single notes instead of jumps, and make sure the first set of minijacks don't land on column 4
0:46.820-0:50.120 - Aw man really? No grace notes for the blip sound??
*0:51.620-0:59.820 - The way this is structured doesn't really work. It really bothers me that you leave the breaks uncharted in places such as 0:54.820-0:55.220, 0:56.020-0:56.420 etc. And having the 0:51.620-0:52.320 etc segments charted the same as 1:00.020-1:01.120 feels wrong
1:19.320-1:19.520 - Why not 141? Compare with the intro
1:41.820-1:42.270 - Ideally should be the same placements for the singles and jumps (e.g. [4][23][4][23]) or do [4][23][1][23]
1:48.220-1:48.670 - Like here you did it right
1:58.614, 2:00.214 - Why the 24ths here? You didn't do this at 1:57.014 which makes a lot more sense
2:08.714-2:08.814 - Mirror these notes
2:22.780-2:24.315 - Sync here is drifting for these notes. Double check
2:33.215 - Ghost note

This file is actually pretty solid. I would love to see this in game. But there are a lot of cruical notes to point out for this file that doesn't make it to the Accepted rating.

** notes are Fixes Required, while * is Changes Recommended.

>Permission good (Within Limited)
>Folder contents, metadata good
>Sync good

10.815 / 13.214 / 14.014 - Probably don’t want these as hands for consistency
30.747 / .772 - Swapping the position of these two notes (and possibly changing .872) will better enforce the structure here
1:57.614, 1:59.314, 2:00.914 - these 32nd runs can all last a little longer. I’d recommend at least making them all the same length regardless - first one is shorter
2:16.014, 2:17.614, 2:19.214 - these 32nd runs can all last a little longer too

This is fairly solid. Mostly just listing some very minor polish. Pretty interesting chart overall.

thanks for the feedback! :)

Il get to working on these fixes asap. This caught me off guard; I totally wasn't expecting this xD

Hopefully fixed up all the issue outlined in the notes. Also adjusted the difficulty of some sections to try and bring the spikiness down. Overall the chart feels a lot more friendly whilst keeping with the feel I was trying to go for... :)

----------
Note Count changed: 1934 => 1914
AVG NPS changed: 12.73206 => 12.60039
Hand Bias changed: 60 => 72

Modified some of the jack lanes (and surrounding notes to ensure it keeps the flow) Would appreciate some feedback on the changes and please don't hesitate to suggest any changes if needed! :)

----------
Note Count changed: 1914 => 1912
AVG NPS changed: 12.60039 => 12.58723
Hand Bias changed: 72 => 64

Reverted one of the fixes in the above changes that didn't really feel nice.

A new chart file was uploaded.

15.214-15.513 - Could use jacks as well. Compare with 1:12.806-1:13.109

1:20.020-1:20.320 - Why not on column 3? More column variety for jacks

I'm also a bit miffed that both jacks at 1:46.020 and 1:53.620 are on the same lane (no column variety there), but I guess you can't do much there based on the layering of the 16ths and 12ths

Made the above suggested changes. Didn't try to work a left jack into the final ones mentions as it would require changing a lot and I like how those sections flow. I believe this is now the final file.
