> Permission does not appear in perms thread. Please provide proof of permission being granted. Simply being an FFR user isn't automatic permission.
> Sync is an issue throughout the chart. It appears more manual syncing will be needed. Notably the notes at 0:02.995 are out ~15ms out of sync.
> No issues found within simfile properties.
> Multiple unused files found in submission folder. Please removed the unused files.
This chart has a few main issues with it
1) Incorrect Rhythms and ghost notes. Things like the speedup at 0:00.825 are charted incorrectly, as well as many sections with notes that just dont appear in the song like 0:15.326.
2) Inconsistent layering. Nearly every repeat at 0:14.268 does something different despite the instruments largely being the same.
3) "Forced" Patterning. Its a small thing but forcing patterns into a chart can really have a negative impact. Things like the 23 trill at 0:15.679 don't really feel like they follow anything are just thrown in there to have a pattern. They also create awkward patterning for no apparent reason, like the 2 anchor that starts the trill. Its okay to place random notes sometimes.
4) Failing to match the intensity of the music. 0:30.141 is the biggest example, where the chart density and difficulty just drops while the music stays largly the same, and arguably gets more intense. 1:06.472 is another example where the song calms down A LOT, but instead the chart gives us nothing but jumps.
5) Random harsh difficulty spikes. Even if a chart warrants a certain difficulty, you need to consider the rest of the chart. Its especially important to consider patterning when dealing with more difficulty sections. The minijack at 1:23.256 is a great example. You have a minijack coming out of a long anchor on 3, directly into a minijacki into anchor on 4. This is exceptionally rude in a chart that doesn't have that many 16ths to begin with.

>Permission might be good?? (between Punk-o-matic terms https://www.evildoggames.com/terms-of-service.html and tons more searching that maybe?? revealed the artist’s/arranger’s permission https://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz/showthread.php?p=4160372#post4160372)
PLEASE make permission info as specific and clear as possible in every submission. Include direct links for proof, even if it’s just to the artist list in the permission thread. This required an excessive amount of searching to determine permission status.
>Folder contains .sfk and .ssc files, please remove these from your future submissions.
>Sync drifts a bit, will investigate
–With some ddream shenanigans, I’ve found that the song comes close to a constant BPM in sections, but has notable points where proper sync jumps either faster or slower than the constant. This is probably due to Punk-o-matic just not being a very good audio source for much more than that “game.”
–I can send you my synced version of this if you like, just DM me.
–Ultimately it’s a bit debatable whether to use your original version which seems somewhat close, or to require fine tuned sync. I’d rather have good sync.
–Notes in this review will use the original version.
>Don’t want to force you to get a new mp3, but this audio quality has not stood the test of time very well. If there’s anything you can do to improve it, it’d be appreciated but won’t force it.
–Improving this may also fix the sync issue. It’s hard to know for certain.
Playtest Impression, 1.0x Rate - The long OHT will probably have to go. Not sure how to feel about this one just yet.
2.980 - 14.268 - Layering..?? I don’t understand it here, isn’t very consistent with anything
17.442, 18.677, 20.264, - jump, snare
49.365 - jump?
1:12.116 - 1:23.344 - Again, don’t understand the layering choices here
1:13.169 - no note? Bass and snare play here
1:13.250 - 1:14.923 - 16th trill starts on the 8th (1:13.695). And yeah, people aren’t going to like this being on 12 for this long especially given 1:21.955
1:15.756 - You’re fine to leave this on the 8th imo
I really don’t feel comfortable accepting this. Between the audio quality, the sync, and some sections of uncertain layering decisions, there’s some clear things here that need improvement.
