Cull v2 (Storn42) [7/10]
>Permission good (Riot Games)
>Folder contents, metadata good, though would prefer difficulty tag instead of v2
>Sync good

Playtest Impression, 1.0x Rate - oof. Maybe…..

1:14.549 - [123] pls
1:25.349 - 1:26.149 - right hand stress is pretty rough here
1:31.749 - 1:32.549 - right hand stress is pretty rough here

God damnit storn lmao

It’s.. a tough judgement call. The longer jumpglut patterns should get a brush over for playability - I’ve highlighted the worst culprits but it’s worth combing through and playtesting all of them. I’d watch out for any 3-note jacks(especially things like 1[12]1s) in the extended glut sections as they tend to be especially rough unless you’re doing Primitivism-type bs or the layering justifies handjacks.

The real question with this one is would the intended high D6+ audience enjoy this? And I’m just not certain. It wouldn’t be the most jack/glut focused file in recent memory but I don’t imagine it being overly popular.

I’ll give it a squeak through rating, but highly recommend smoothing out the glut patterns.

01:04.549 - You had me on a jack-centric chart just fine, up until this point. While I can see the justification beyond having a 4-note jack (which most can reasonably handle for a jack file), once it goes beyond 4, I start recommending trills (either one-hand or two-hand) for a reason, and that reason is that people are going to hate you for it. Regardless of what the song portrays. This note is going to apply for all jacks of the same nature, incl. examples such-as 01:07.749 & 01:10.949.

01:35.348 - what in the fuck man

01:33.149 - Different PR than that of the previous [23] in this chain here.

-After reviewing the ending of the file I can understand why 01:04.549 is layered the way it is, but jeez man. As a jack file, being back-loaded, this is rough.

I've always had a soft-spot for addressing & allowing jack-related files. Given the speed of the jumpgluts that are happening in this file alongside the length of jacks, I worry that the general concensus of FFR and its playerbase will pan the file, but it's been quite some time since we've seen a jack-centric file hit the floor so I'm giving this a minimal pass with Changes Recommended. There isn't really any perceived issue in structure of the file nor is the file mistaking what it aims to be. It's just not everyone's cup of tea. The biggest suggest of a fix I can provide is to consider dialing back jacks longer than 4 notes but it would require a radical overhaul across the entire file of how you've planned jacks for this file.

A new chart file was uploaded with the following changes:
----------
Hand Bias changed: -52 => -50

not much has really changed, but i've tried to repattern the gluts where reasonably possibly to be more friendly.
