Rejected
If Goldstinger is judging this file again, then the changes I made from my rejected v1 on Feb/Mar2021 Batch is: Shorter song length, nerfed the long anchor section into minijacks, nerfed all long semi-jumptrills to be [12]/[34]'s. Venetian Snares - is in the "Permissions List and Information v8" thread.

Playtest Impression, 0.8x Rate - Notably pretty repetitive but okay.

It’s ..okay. There’s nothing overly outstanding about this file, and I don’t really have any major complaints. I frankly find it kind of bland and would support an even shorter cut but the current cut is fine.

PERMS OK
SYNC OK

17.482: The high pitch synth really evolves/changes through this section, and the anchor's intent gets somewhat buried in the layering.

24.982: Could use some jumps here. It's pretty much the response of 23.643 but with drums on top which you also layer.

26.054: Isolated heavy sounds like these could be layered as hands to add variety and flatten the overall difficulty curve.

47.482-48.554: I understand the PR going to the hihats here and it's fine. That being said, I'd suggest something like (123)(14)(123)4(24) since the last two notes clearly share the distorted kick sound which is what you seem to layer with (12).

54.848: Could be stepped, doesn't seem like necessary negative space.

1:06.232: This triplet should probably not be identical to 1:06.768; different hihats order + the former also has a tom hit on the 16th.

1:30.607: PR, it's quite different from 1:28.732.

2:50.429-2:55.920: This is not an acceptable spike relative to the rest of the file. There are a few ways to tone it down quite a bit while still remaining higher intensity than the previous section which builds up to this one with the hihats included. For example, you could omit the more subtle hihats 16ths in the transitions between the anchored jumpjacks, and you could omit the 16ths that are on top of the 192nds.

2:53.844: To keep things not overly complex in this very difficult spike, this could be changed to a 21 (instead of 12) so that the hand movements are at least consistent with the previous iterations. Same applies to 2:54.781 (34 instead of 43).

3:55.518: Similar difficulty concerns as 2:50.429. The mix of one handed jumptrills to transition between already complex anchored jumpjacks makes for a pretty rough bump.

3:58.197: PR warrants something like 23132313, the 4ths arent quite the same sound there as the 8ths.

Overall this file is ok. The first half is really solid and showcases fun patterns, but it's completely eclipsed by the overlayering of the second half. With a decent nerf to the second half's complexity in the spiky bits, this could be a pretty fun chart and a test of stamina too. As is though, it's just too jarring to be enjoyed throughout.
