Diversion (Storn42) [8.5/10]
>Permission good (Rise Records)
>Folder contents, metadata good. Folder name isn’t capitalized oops
>Sync good
Playtest Impression, 1.0x Rate - Seems really good.
36.703 / 1:31.560 - could argue for guitar note
2:01.217 / .389 - ^
Banger. No real issues, just a solid file all around.

Diversion (Storn42) [8.5/10]
PERMS OK
SYNC OK
4.131: This is the only iteration where the guitar isn't on the same note. From the start, all descending triplet guitar notes are on 4. Could be worth trying to keep that consistency. Just an idea.
8.760: Left hand doing 2 21 could be avoided for slightly better flow, see 19.731 which doesnt have this motion. Nitpick.
10.731: For consistency (with 1:05.588 for example), this should probably be a jump and the following 4th omitted as it's very subtle relative to this layered 16th.
1:12.017: Should be a jump, kick + guitar.
1:57.960 & 1:58.046: Missing notes considering you layered 2:05.503.
2:01.560: The cymbal crashes you layer on the 4ths on 1 only start at 2:02.246 so I would suggest making this a (24).
2:13.731: This is the only iteration where you repeat the preceding 8th, breaks your PR consistency.
This file is pretty solid. Fun layering with the quads in there, and everything has great flow.

@Tru

- good idea
2:01.217 / .389 - ^
- I cant hear anything on these timestamps.

- An interesting idea but that wasn't my intention. This would also bring problems like a anchor at 1:731. This would also suggest that i should chart the empty space at 0:04.989 which i dont intend to do.
8.760: Left hand doing 2 21 could be avoided for slightly better flow, see 19.731 which doesnt have this motion. Nitpick.
- i dont really see how the 2 21 is a flow issue. I find the section plays quite nicely actually.
10.731: For consistency (with 1:05.588 for example), this should probably be a jump and the following 4th omitted as it's very subtle relative to this layered 16th.
- The vocal sounds much closer to the 4th than the 16th. The vocals are constant 8ths and I cant hear any jump that would imply a 16th. with 1:05.588 you can hear the slow down in the vocals which is why those 16ths are jumps
1:12.017: Should be a jump, kick + guitar.
- man i have really backed myself into a corner with this one. Putting it into the chart looks like https://i.imgur.com/yN4HIf2.png Which doesn't realty play well at all. Looking back at the chart we have sections like 0:21.446 where the sound is ignored. Instead i think the actual call is to follow the cymbals here. https://i.imgur.com/Cs4fmWg.png This flows quite well and seems to address the consistency issue.
1:57.960 & 1:58.046: Missing notes considering you layered 2:05.503.
- i've thought a lot about whether to add these notes and it feels like the better move is to ignore them, even if its a consistency issue. It just doesn't flow right for me.
2:01.560: The cymbal crashes you layer on the 4ths on 1 only start at 2:02.246 so I would suggest making this a (24).
- While its a different cymbal, there is still a crash here
2:13.731: This is the only iteration where you repeat the preceding 8th, breaks your PR consistency.
- fixed.
