Micro Media Broth (Psychotik) [7.5/10]

(Playtest Impression, 1.0x Rate) Pretty good take on this song at a glance.
44.979 - sound is pretty unnoticeable to me on 1.0x
51.751 - suggest moving to 2 but not mandatory
55.319 - sound is pretty unnoticeable to me on 1.0x
1:58.341/2:00.512 - slightly disagree with these being hands instead of jumps but not a big deal
2:05.424 - sound is pretty unnoticeable to me on 1.0x
2:10.335/.439 - suggest switching these jumps to keep sense of background PR
2:15.919 - suggest moving to 3
2:21.451 - sound is pretty unnoticeable to me on 1.0x
2:23.725 - sound is pretty unnoticeable to me on 1.0x
I’m probably listing some stylistic disagreements, so pick and choose which of my notes to address. Seems as though this was stepped at a lower rate but some of the detail that shows up on lower rates just isn’t noticeable at 1.0x, and to me, feel like errors when played at speed. I can’t really say there’s much that’s wrong here on a technical level. Ultimately, I do like this file and want to see it in the game. My notes/primary recommendation are just a few spots where I’d recommend toning down that finer detail for better clarity. Both sets of judge notes will be a really good place to start with that.

Micro Media Broth
-----------------
- Permissions, sync, metadata good.
- 8.634: Why jump?
- 17.527, 24.144, etc.: Can see why you'd use a 3-note 3/32nd jack here but the third note (at 17.837) feels noticeably lower.
- 28.177, 28.280: Missing white notes?
- 34.794: This is extremely column 3 biased and hence probably the single hardest part of the file.
- 43.790: Not clear on why this is a jump.
- 48.650: I might suggest dropping a jump in this sequence to follow the 32nds here since you do follow them at e.g. 44.927, but there's nothing wrong with what you've got.
- 51.648: I feel this is a better spot for a minijack than some other places where you actually do use them, such as 50.201.
- 57.749: Add note here or remove at 64.367.
- 65.504: Add note here or remove at 66.021.
- 71.398, 72.328: Missing notes.
- 81.583: I really can't hear this at full rate.
- 90.217-91.044: There's some pretty interesting poly stuff going on here which would be nice to acknowledge.
- 92.285: This is a bit lower than the other percussion, but the same as the next jump. Maybe move to column 1? Similar note at 118.755.
- 94.456: This is pretty clearly ascending, not a fan of this minijack. Technically there is a 24th minijack at 94.697 though, if you'd like to listen to the devil on your shoulder...
- 110.380, 110.586: Possible missing notes--I'd also understand omitting them to focus on the wacky 3/32nd rhythm, but in that case the 32nds at 110.690 seem to go against this goal.
- 118.238: This was a lot friendlier at 91.768.
- 122.994: Missing note.
- 124.959: Straight 24ths don't really work here imo and are not what you used for similar sounds beforehand.
- 126.200: Arguable missing note.
- 126.458, 126.665: There are some weird 32nds here. You included similar stuff at ~110 seconds, so I'd recommend following these too.
- 134.368: Missing 16th, same sound as 134.161. Also not seeing why the jump on the 4th is a jump--maybe it was supposed to go here?
- 136.281: Cool 32nd here you could follow.
- 160.839: What are these 32nds for? I can't hear them, and this pattern isn't trivial.
- 166.422: Missing note.
- 166.319: Since 166.629 and 166.836 are normal jumps, this should probably also be a normal uncoloured jump.
* 170.110-172.006: Hidden column 1 giga-anchor.
- 175.677: I get this... but this is kinda mean considering the song is winding down a little and you've only had one other 3-note jack in the file which was way more prominent. I might suggest moving the second note of the jack to column 3 or some such.
- This file actually plays pretty dang nice, but it has a *lot* of minor inconsistencies and opportunities for touch-ups. I'd say it does play well enough for an accept, but I strongly recommend combing through it again. [7/10]

Amended chart based on most of the notes. Agreed that some of the 32nds are hard to hear at full speed so I removed some, but not all.
A new chart file was uploaded with the following changes:
