A sunday drive (katanaeyegaming) [0/10]
>Permission check weird (see below)
>Sync is off -- Offset not set (Change to -0.029)
>Metadata, Folder contents fine
I can't actually find if/where eppujoloz explicitly gave permission for their music. They've been active in the community so it's likely easy to check with them for it.
I roasted your file and it turned out tender and juicy!
You most likely recorded keytaps with 16th snaps. I can't tell whether this is a serious submission. There are some small places where the file makes sense and follows the music, but numerous others that are completely off the rails, like a weird combination of a Synthlight and NVLM_ZK file. If this is serious, check out some resources on how to make files before sending another file:
http://www.cosmovibe.com/ncguide/index.html
https://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz/showthread.php?t=116627
And feel free to ask questions in the #simfiles channel of the FFR Discord.
*Note that starting with the May/June 2021 batch, two judges will review each file. Ratings are not final until both judges have posted their notes and the file status is updated.*

katanaeyegaming - A sunday drive [1/10]
Syncing [*/3]: (0/3)
- Offset: 0 -> 0.025
- The patterns you are trying to match are very unclear to the player. I recommend using rates to better sync the file.
Playability [*/3]: (1/3)
- Some hand combinations are aggressive and very unwarranted. Patterns are generally unfriendly, but file is at least playable.
Technicality [*/3]: (0/3)
- A lot of note usage is unclear. What distinguishes a hand from a quad? Why are some arrows stepped as rights instead of lefts? These are sort of the thoughts you should consider when adding arrows in a stepfile.
Recommendations [*/1]: (0/1)
- I would recommend reaching out to a veteran stepartist to help you out with understanding the basics of stepping.
Rating [*/10]: (1/10)
- It's admirable that you are trying to contribute to the game by creating one of your first files. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions and please don't feel discouraged as stepping can be challenging.
Feel free to DM me on Discord if you have any specific questions.
