bmah - Party Starter - ARM (IOSYS) x cotowari ft. anporin [8 / 10]

NOTE: I would like to have this song strongly considered for the next official tournament. I heard that there may not be a special batch solely for OT files of all difficulties, so I'm submitting this in anticipation of that.

This song is not a compositional collaboration of multiple artists, as it is composed solely by ARM (blanket perm.) - cotowari wrote the lyrics and anporin is the vocalist.
- This file is a collaboration between multiple authors / stepauthors.

Yeah I know about 36.71s. Just hit it like [12][23][34]. :)
And I love the emphasis of those two quads near the end. bam!

Party Starter
-------------
- Perms, sync, metadata good.

- 25.286: How come this isn't a 32nd like e.g. 23.906?
- 31.844: Suggest changing this jump to [24], both to ease the transition out of the jack and to accent that this sound is higher than the next.
- 35.521: Should be just after the 8th, not just before.
- 36.714: Argh lol. As long as this gets framefixed to not force any 2-framers, it should be alright, but I do think that something like a 43 43 43 flam-jack would get you less hate mail and also fit in better thematically with the minijack right after this.
- 46.000: This is early by a 48th.
- 57.364: Feel like the vocal bend here deserves some recognition.
- 64.766: No reason for such a big column 4 anchor.
- 90.286: This is a little [2][3]-y, suggest a more varied pattern. For example: https://i.imgur.com/4xnAMpU.png
- 101.146: Would prefer this on the right hand since this would not force a flam motion. I don't think a flam motion is very fitting here because vocals and kicks are very different instruments and hence should feel distinct (e.g. separated by hand).
- 104.896: This pattern is way more aggressive than the sound calls for imo, compare it with 103.727 which is patterned similarly but with an easier exit and goes to a markedly louder / more intense sound. Would recommend removing the 16th.
- 109.060: This is on the 16th just after.
- 117.234: Bit much for the sound. Might suggest just the first triplet and then an isolated later note for the piano.

- Gotta say, this has some scary patterns in it lol. They're all within the acceptable range, but I do have some concerns about overaccenting, particularly in the ending as mentioned above. I don't think 36.714 is necessarily overaccented, but I definitely would've done it differently. Chart is well done technically and overall fun to play. [8/10]

"- 25.286: How come this isn't a 32nd like e.g. 23.906?"
It doesn't seem to have the same glissando as the others (it seems to lack it, like 28.53s).

"- 31.844: Suggest changing this jump to [24], both to ease the transition out of the jack and to accent that this sound is higher than the next."
This and the subsequent jump are both [24] now.

"- 35.521: Should be just after the 8th, not just before."
Fixed.

"- 36.714: Argh lol. As long as this gets framefixed to not force any 2-framers, it should be alright, but I do think that something like a 43 43 43 flam-jack would get you less hate mail and also fit in better thematically with the minijack right after this."
Actually I had this exact pattern before. I prolly won't change it...

"- 46.000: This is early by a 48th."
Fixed.

"- 64.766: No reason for such a big column 4 anchor."
Yes there's a reason - that represents the incoming strings which are repeating the same notes.

"- 90.286: This is a little [2][3]-y, suggest a more varied pattern. For example: https://i.imgur.com/4xnAMpU.png"
I'm playing around with the variation of jumptrill patterns in mind, and there are only a few variations: [12][34], [13][24], and [14][23]. You can see that I've already played around with [14][23][14] later on, so I either change this, but then change another pattern to include a [13][24] pattern, or just keep this the way it is. You could also argue that the area around 93.79s is a bit [3][4]-y and so on.

"- 101.146: Would prefer this on the right hand since this would not force a flam motion. I don't think a flam motion is very fitting here because vocals and kicks are very different instruments and hence should feel distinct (e.g. separated by hand)."
Put the 32nd on the up arrow.

"- 104.896: This pattern is way more aggressive than the sound calls for imo, compare it with 103.727 which is patterned similarly but with an easier exit and goes to a markedly louder / more intense sound. Would recommend removing the 16th."
Did that and also removed another 16th elsewhere.

"- 109.060: This is on the 16th just after."
Fixed.
