Question about FFR with my Wii

So I noticed that there are 2 USB ports on the back of it. If I get a regular USB keyboard, can I use that to play FFR on my Wii?

FFR for the Wii fails, I've tried it, it was too slow and couldn't read the notes properly

I've FC'd Freespace (FFR Edit) on the wii, its not that hard!
