Just curious. I know that Piano Etude (Demon Fire), CAULI FLOWER, Chariot, and Final Fantasy Last Battle Festival do, but I'm wondering if anything else does.

I thought Horizon II did, but I may have just been imagining things. I didn't get to finish the level, but I did see some in there.

The two Otaku tokens have one white arrow each, right?

Correct. They're near the beginning of the song. I don't know why they are there, though; the notes fall into place with either eighth-rests or three sixteenth-rests.

The problem with white notes is that they are 256th beats. A game that runs on 30 FPS can't make that sensitive of a timing, so yes, they land on the beat, but are made white for accuracy's sake, I guess. But really, it seems like it's only misleading, at that point.

Most of the white arrows are just there for show, not for actual syncing. Since there's only 30FPS a 128th note is rarely going to affect the timing window. In there rare event that a white note actually affects the timing, it's only one frame so it doesn't really matter.

Yes. I put 2 white notes in Crazy Hair Day (in queue) so I could use a "triple" in the end of the file. lol

I have submissions to this batch with legitimate white notes in them, one has 96th notes and the other has 36ths.

Does the 3.9 version of SM even HAVE white notes in the editor? I don't think I've seen them...

Anything not covered by the normal coloring scheme is colored green in SM.

'Kay.. Do only the 4.0 versions have the option to automatically put them in (like in the editor), rather than going into the .sm or .dwi and manually typing them in?

Noooo, I mean how can I use them in my own stepfiles? Do I have to like, download them, or something?
