Kingdom Hearts ZERO unaofficially announced!

EDIT UPDATE AFTER TGS(9/20/07):
The new PSP game is officially called Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, and not Kingdom Hearts Zero. In the PSP entry to the franchise players will take on the role of new characters shown during the secret Final Mix trailer of Kingdom Hearts 2. This game will somewhat play and resemble the look of the PS2 versions.It will tell the story of three all-new characters who are all Keyblade apprentices searching for their missing Keyblade master. Co-directing this title will be Tetsuya Nomura and Tai Yasue.

***If you haven't seen the secret ending titled "Birth by Sleep" found at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix only released in japan and would like too click here because it's really ****ing amazing and it's a glimpse of what's in store for this PSP title. ***

There's also a DS game coming out called 'Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days'. Yes the name sounds stupid but Square has said it'll be in full 3D which means it'll look leaps and bounds better than any other DS game on teh market. It will follow the adventures of both Roxas and Axel and contain both single player and multiplayer missions in the form of four-player simultaneous play using members of Organization XIII. The game is in full 3D too and is being directed by Tetsuya Nomura and Tomohiro Hasegawa. No date has been announced for any region yet (but you can probably expect it to hit sometime in 2008)

There's also a cell phone game. Kingdom Hearts: Coded. Most likely to be a japan only release game since there cell phone technology is ages ahead of everyone elses. The storyline sees Jiminy Cricket return to Disney Castle after the events of the first game, where he starts writing in his journal which leads to him finding mysterious messages that he cannot trace. This marks the beginning of an all-new quest for Sora and company (familiar characters from the first two games). Carriers and cell phone models that will support the game have not been announced yet.

The guys at 1UP already know a Kingdom Hearts ZERO is coming. No info on it yet besides the fact it's for the PSP and other platforms? Possibly cellphones or something. ****ing awesome.

I take everything especially KH:ZERO PSP will be officially announced at this coming TGS(Toyko Game Show) this month!! WOOT WOOT. Oh that and we'll recieve more details on FF: Dissidia(PSP) :3

damn it why the psp? XD i wanted kingdom hearts to be in the DS. i would buy a ps3 for kingdom hearts 3 but i would never buy a psp for any kingdom hearts, or final fantasy game X_X yeah i hate it that much.

XD thats the one system that KH should NOT come out on. But KH on the Wii sounds a little...... difficult... O.o

But KH0 sounds so fake. Dissidia looks fcking awesome though, and so does FFVII Crisis Core

Hmm...it'll be interesting to see how they'll pull that off. KH:CoM was a pretty solid game in my opinion. And it's going to be AGES before KH3 comes out, so something in the meantime will be nice.

Last I heard the team doing FF13 is doing KH3, so it won't be worked on until that's released.

not the way i imagine it XD (card system + touch screen = awesome) let's hope one of those "platforms" is either the DS or cellphones

ok let's hope that there is a GOOD KH game for either the cellphones or DS (but actually i want it in the ps3 or wii any of those is good)

I would have preferred it if it was on the DS, not the PSP because the PSP does not have too many games I would play, making it a waste of money.

The rumor release date for kh3 is supposed to be sometime in 2011.

I highly doubt it will come out in 4 years. Next gen. systems are out every 4 years or so. I don't really like the whole handheld idea of "KH:0" but I do have a PSP that does nothing but plays music, so a game might be fun for a change. Hopefully the game will keep gamers occupied while they develope a strong hxc KH:3 game for the PS3. hopefully enough to use the PS3s full potential power and have a kickass game for 09 fall season [just a guess]

If they do release a KH game before KH3, it will most likely be on the PSP due to the Square Enix contracts with Sony. However, the DS is ridiculously popular in Japan, their home-grounds, so it may be a smart business move to have a momentary deal with Nintendo.

Granted, of course, they even make another handheld KH game. Here's hoping. Oh, and hoping for KH3 to come out before 2011 is asking for a miracle.

Square Enix would rather reluctantly create a KH game for Nintendo, their business is more loyal based rather than strictly profitable. Like with Microsoft's XBOX/XBOX 360, Enix told Microsoft to shove it didn't they? Well, not that exactly, but you get the point.

And as for the PSP having KH, it would be pretty cool since graphics on the PSP are better than PS2 in some instances, plus you can just get a memory stick and get the game for free .

Who really cares anyway? It's a cash-in. It's going to be some half-way decent game that is outshined by a hundred others, but it will outsell them all just because it had Kingdom Hearts in the name. Don't get me wrong, KH1-2 were both fun games, but they are overrated as hell.
