Unhappy Ex-relationship: Is payback an option?

I had broken up with a guy a few months ago, he was staying at my place at the time and was going to move out. My mistake: I was never there after the break up, and he stole all my good stuff,(ex: ps2, games and movies) Later on I found out that he sold all of them for weed. He's been avoiding me since the day he stole my stuff. I with a new guy, it happens to be with a person who he considered a friend. But the "friend" only considered him as an aquaintence.

Explaination:
Reason for break-up: He was always yelling at me in front of his friends and even hit me once, never appreciative, and always took money from my purse w/out permision.
Also he's about $2,000 in debt with the bank.

...and that's where this sacastic quote goes into place:
He has no enemies, but is intensely disliked by his friends.
- Oscar Wilde

Now my question: What the hell should I do?! The tension has gotten worst to the point he talks smack to my boyfriend on WOW. Should I ignore him? Fight back? I apologize if this is too long of a story, and the last I need is for anyone to give a rude response, supportive advice plz!

What are you retarded? Why do you come to FFR with this ****. Go see a psychiatrist to see why you're such a moron for taking abuse from a dick.

WOW = gay
Talkin' smack on WOW made me rofl.
You're so sad.

If he's got weed in his possession, you could probably turn him in to the police. :/

I think you should leave it all behind you, don't get involved with him, don't speak with him. Just leave it.

For your boyfriend, I am sure WoW has some ignore features, use them.

He is just looking for attention, abusive people always look for a way to make you feel bad about yourself. (like right now)

Don't allow him to provoke you, just leave it all behind, your with a new guy, a new beginning.

Thanx everyone, you all are right on your parts, so I guess this isn't way to cope with this, Ignoring him is a good idea.

Yes I've had a psychiatrist before, but in my opinion they're not really helpful, they assume prescription drugs are the cure to everything.

That's because they get money from referrals. Think about it, everyone needs to put food on the table.

"Listen, Frank was it?"
"um.. Hank"
"yeah well im going to send you to see Dr . Smith, and he will give you something that will help you with your depression okay?"
*fills out prescription*

Use a flam glove on him. From 20 feet away. Make sure the flams hit his shoes.

She has already found her solution, it involves... not flame gloves and testicles.

Topic = Over.

Errm if he stole your **** can't you just call the police and get it back if you have some kind of proof. As well as the hitting and stealing money etc etc.

It was stupid of you to let things go on for that long and let him mooch off your house with your stuff in it.

Just get your **** back and forget him.
