Wow, congratulations!
Just wondering, would the nationals tourney would just be an elimination style one, and how would seeds be selected if so?
I just want to know.

Not sure, but it's called the Namco National Dance-Off I think.

He passed A on pad a long time ago, didn't he? I mean that's pretty damn good.

Free tokens for a YEAR? That's a lot of tokens, yo.

No... I still doubt the A pass considering some of the scores he told me :P. It was a standard tournament not heavy etc. .

Why hold a Standard Tournament? Heavy all the way.

I guess they were trying to do a standard tournament to attract more players, which is retarded because they would get eliminated anyways. Standard would be soooo easy, especially since it's just for perfects(unless the pads suck)

Actually I've stopped DDR but the nationals tournament intrigued me.

I entered for Heavy but during qualifying the reccomended me for standard.

I ended up getting AAA ties twice and had to play 10 rounds in a row (kind of hard when you have asthma) but i ended up winning by 2 perfects overall (we played 5 songs then the final results screen determined the winner) it was like luck because i picked MaxX Unlimited and i can PA those jumps =D

I played smart not hard so when he pciked his song (afronova) i got to choose the mods.

It was 2x shuffle sudden and i beat him in that one by far. (pure luck XD)

The standard tournament was way better than heavy because everyone knew who would win Heavy and the tourny seemed kind of pointless (it was a AAA tie too XD)

I kind of stopped playing back after i passed A (with a D mind you =/) because i broke the pad then I had to move to FL (parents wouldn't take it :<) but when i saw the tourny i just had to enter XD.

Now, I'm entering DDR Storm 6 too. It is the bigger Jacksonville tourny and its this saturday.

::EDIT::

The last song was picked by the supervisor and he decided to do random which came out to be Dead End.

I got near 20 greats because i was so tired =/ (10th round in a row)

::double edit::

on saturday night after Storm I'm gonna be staying at Tygers house. He has a sweet cobalt flux and SM so I'll see what we can do about BMR's A there =D
There is also going to be IIDX and POP n' in da cage
For those that don't know the cage is like this baseball game thing where you stand in a cage and bat balls using a bat with sensors on it or some shiz. They rent the cage out to us for about 20 bux per hour and we hook up pop n' (on a desktop arcade or ransai) and IIDX (konami officials)

I'm supposed to be going today to get my tokens and find out about the actual nationals so I'll update later with info and how heavy my pockets are.

I don't want the school or anyone to know my password for my real account so I use an alternate account to avoid any future problems.

If this is the series of tournaments that Namco is holding, then I will point out right now that none of the results have any credibility as far as reporting the best of the best.
