free play

I put stepmania on freeplay mode thinking it would let me do as many songs as i want in a session but it only lets me do two and the main menudosent come up so I cant switch out of freeplay or change any options or evan quit the game(without ctrl-alt-delete)
HELP! what do I do????

That could be a bug, im not sure...

What version of sm do you have? if you dont have 3.9, I suggest downloading it and trying it again.

Really? I thought 3.9 came out after CVS, making it better....shows how dumb i am.

DRL, maybe try reinstalling CVS and see what happens

I went to reintsall it by first clicking uninstall and i looked at the filenames going on the screen and it looked like it was deleting my songs so i pressed ctrl alt delete but accidentally twice and my comp restarted now it works untill i go to play a song in which case it crashes

so yo i just downloaded 3.9 right now to try stepmania...im lost in all your little convos... could someone please give me the sites for all the games like FFR i wanna play DDR,DWI and stuff with keyboard too....and wtf is CVS...tell me where to download or w/e if its better then 3.9

just press F3 on the screen when it says free play, this should change the mode from free play into home play mode, which allows u to change options and other things

I'll have you know that it was quite helpful to me, after a google search of this coming up. Some would like an actual explaination on how to fix it, so we don't have to keep explaining these things. Thanks oliverlin!

you kept messing with it and now ur computer doesnt want to run it i suggest taking out your songs folder delete CVS and download 3.9 or better 3.95 if you want 3.95 then google it SM website does not hold CVS or 3.95
