Re: Xbox One reveal
This is precisely what I thought went on at the conference.
And then they talk about Call of Duty and everyone starts whacking it. |

Re: Xbox One reveal
zzz If i wanted to watch TV I'd just get a television provider zzz
Sports - I'd just listen to Sports! all day everyday Halo - we all know how the movie came out. Call of Duty - Everybody dies in the end in the massive onslaught of 12 year olds. Serious note: I seriously doubt that I'm going to get it...I mean removing all bias aside, I just don't see the appeal that it has for me to waste my money on it. Also, I can only see the majority of sales catering to 12 year olds who play CoD endlessly

Re: Xbox One reveal
I knew Microsoft would fuck up with this. These past years they have done nothing but focus their attention to make their system be a multi-media console instead of what a console should be, which is just to play god damn games.
It doesn't help that there's still the rumors going around that you must connect to the Internet on Xbox One every 24 hours or else it won't function. Microsoft... I have no idea what you're doing, but you sure as hell are not targeting the gaming audience with your features. |

Re: Xbox One reveal
The Xbox One won't even start without the Kinect attached. You have to pay extra fees if you buy used games because it registers discs to the console it's first installed upon and renders them otherwise unusable. The always-on connection for games is the choice of the game makers, but you know they'll probably want to go ahead and enforce it. Also, don't forget the inability to play 360/XBLA titles on it...
Everything about this reveal sucks if you're an Xbox gamer. Back to square one, with heavy restrictions on connections and the games themselves. Thanks, Microsoft, for using your money to shit on your customer base. Great happiness abounds. Braindead fucks. Yeah, I'm not happy at all about this one. >.>

Re: Xbox One reveal
Maybe Microsoft just thought that Ubisoft's decision to make some of their games need to have connection 24/7 was a good idea.
... Microsoft wants to be the new Ubisoft! |

This is actually pretty funny because I still have a GBC in addition to my 3DS and 360... also fuck yeah, Skyrim. *high-five*

Yeah this gen of consoles seems pretty shitty. I might actually pick up a PS4 instead of an Xbox if those two items are true.
