cool an italian simfile artist that isn't necros 8)

first of all, learn to zip your folders in one folder, not two. this made me close stepmania to delete an empty folder.

second, song choice is awful. maybe you like full metal alchemist but the song won't deliver interesting steps that are relevant to the song.

third, the song is completely offsync, you have the wrong bpm and the arrows have absolutely nothing to do with the song.

honest score:
0/10

yo for most songs with a constant bpm, Mixmeister BPM Analyzer will take the song and spit out the bpm. round it to the nearest 0.05 and enter that into the chart using F7 and F8.

Next place down some notes to the beat and go into song options, turn on assist tick and lower the rate to 0.3x. Play the song a couple of times; how far off are the beats of the song from the beats of your arrows? Using F11 and F12 adjust the 'beat 0 offset' (that is, how far into the song the very first beat is placed) until they both line up as perfectly as you can make it, and finally raise the rate to 1.0x and continue stepping your synced chart.

Stepping a song is an iterative process of laying down steps you think will match the part of the song coming up, playing the song over them to see if they're right or not, and refining them so that they better match the song in terms of rhythms and column placement. When you're satisfied with each part you move on to the next, and periodically or at the end you'll check the whole thing to ensure it is self-consistent and accurate at all times; sometimes you'll drop down to a lower rate to check rhythms or sync you can't figure out on 1.0x alone.

Above all, though, you should never need to place arrows on random colours to keep the beat, or alternatively your arrows on the beat should never desync with the song; if this happens, stop and figure out what's gone wrong. Did the song's BPM change at some point or were your initial bpm/offset wrong?
