Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
I've been using Fruity Loops for about a week now and I realized that FL is nothing without Soundpacks.
So this thread, if it stays alive, should be dedicated to providing soundpacks to the FL users on FFR. Here's a good pack I found TILT - http://rs340.rapidshare.com/files/97408139/TILT.rar Mirror - PART 1: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=I0TFKQJC PART 2: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BCTGUJB5 "TiLt's FL Studio Samples pack contains over 4160 sounds with a number of high-quality instruments so there is no need to purchase anything else in order to make professional quality tracks." TWEAKBENCH VST's - http://www.tweakbench.com/ I found these while searching for 8-Bit instruments, "peach" and "basic-64" produce the most retro sounds, I had a lot of fun with peach actually. FL 8 Install Directory (VSTPLUGINS) - C:\Program Files\Vstplugins (Make sure FL 8 is configured to look in that folder, it should be by default) FL 8 Install Directory - C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 8\Data\Patches\Packs If you have Version 6 or 7 the directory is the same except instead of FL Studio 8 it should be changed to the version you have, i.e: FL Studio 7, FL Studio 6 etc.. for 64-Bit users, FL might not be in Program Files, instead it will be in "Program Files (x86)" This Video helped me learn the basics of FL 8 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqZgBVx2w_Y&fmt=18 I'm posting this to help myself and other people, since I can't find any other soundpacks except that Tilt one. Granted I haven't really looked that far! Last edited by RaptorHaysewus; 05-30-2009 at 07:49 AM.. |

Re: Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
4,160 sounds? Wow
I already have something like 10,000 preset sounds between all of the VSTs I have but I could always use some new ones. Thanks for posting this. |

np! You could also post songs here and the sounds you used to make it to see what people can do with them..
Does anyone have any Grand Piano sounds? I'm looking for some but I can't find any |

Re: Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
So I downloaded this.. most of these are pretty low quality WAV files or project files/loops based off of them. I literally couldn't find anything that could be usable, except maybe some of the trip-hop samples after some massive tweaking
Thanks for sharing but my VSTs and samples are way better than anything I got here. |

Re: Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
If you haven't been over to rithum there's a gigantic list of free vst's and websites for vst's(Including Tweakbench). Check em out, and thank for the pack I just might start a sound pack section in the thread and I'll make sure to add this. Cheers! ...going to DL this...

.... Where do I find them in FL 8 XXL? As you can see I is new to this FL business. |

Go to the top left of the screen. go to Channels >> Add One >> More. At the bottem of the window that pops up there's an option to refresh. Do it either of the 2 ways and your vsts should come up on the list in red. mark them and refresh again. Now you can have them at easy insert access. Let me know if anything goes wrong =P |

Re: Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
Cyanite, are you talking about Tilt? Because I just checked the sounds out and the first one I checked was 705kbps Bitrate, the second batch I checked was 352, it all sounds fine to me.
Ah I didn't see that on Rithum, I haven't been there in a while. Thanks Logic! |

Re: Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
I was referring more to the fact that most of these sound like they came straight from the FL preset samples, not their bitrate.

Re: Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
Hmm. Well, it could still be useful. It's free after all.
I just looked at "Massive" on native instruments. I need that now, but it's like €200 |

Last bump, so people can read about TILT and TB, then they can read the Rithum post.

If you give me a bit I will share some 24-bit wav samples of a Roland TR-707 and TR-606 recorded straight from my hardware as soon as I plug them in. 8D

Re: Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
Okay, they've been uploaded. Below are .rars of each one-shot lifted directly from the boxes themselves, recorded by yours truely. They are certainly the most high quality samples out there, as far as I know. Beneath each link is another with a wav sample of it in action, using (most) of the one shots all together. This will be especially useful for those of you who aren't familiar with their sounds.
TR-707 Pack But how does it sound? TR-606 Pack But how does it sound?

Re: Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
But fa queelz, I put the packs in the right folder methinks, but where are they inside FL. I put them in the specific folder directly in programs for VST's or w/e....

Re: Fruity Loops Soundpacks!
After you've placed plugins in whatever directory you put them in, you need to rescan your machine so that FL detects them. Quickest way to do this is:
Channels->Add One->More...->Refresh Good Luck! |

I love the Roland 303 and 909, I've always wanted one. They've gone up in price now though
