Default TWG LXXIII Postgame

TWG LXXIII: Elemental Struggle (Postgame Thread)

Player Roles:

Humans:
Brilliant Dynamite Neon
aTzUeLo1191
Gun92
tupacodaman
rzr
rsr2
Bynary Fission
SK_Bleedingfire
Xception704

Special Humans:
Pyro Guardian: Ruritsu
Psychic: Turboyoshi
Earth Golem: jump_the_bullet

Wolves:
Thunder Wolf Seer: Temote
Shadow Wolf: sc979
Frost Wolverine: sullyman2007

So, I hear massacres are cool. Inactivity wasn't horrible, but I'd like to see a game where everybody is getting into their roles and such. Overall that was ok.

MVP goes to the wolves, who didn't really need to exert themselves at all but still did the best out of the lot. I think you guys had a perfect game other than safeties; nobody voted for you with evidence to back it up if memory serves. Good job bypassing the Pyro Guardian's ability with the frost wolf; I didn't think of that initially. You didn't even use the shadow wolf power to play with the Psychic, haha.

LVP goes to the blues. What a terrible use of your powers, guys. The Earth Golem is most effective when he doesn't tell the world who he is; it keeps an element of uncertainty and second guessing on the wolf side. Seriously, there was nothing special about you other than that.

Guardian, IMO, should have guarded random players. This way, if the attack was blocked, it would essentially have been a free seering as well as additional time for the humans. Earth Golem is a big boy; he can take care of himself. And if he hadn't shared his secret with the world, there wouldn't have been any need to guard him.

The Psychic wasn't even screwed with and was still useless.

The humans also sucked because from what I can tell, you all bandwagoned and voted people off for inactivity. I thought that the more experienced players would at least try to bust some balls, but that didn't happen did it.

Also, nobody defended themselves, primarily because you lynched the inactive players. A tip: If there are wolfings, there are still active wolves. People aren't wolves because they're inactive and are racking up phantoms.

To wrap crap up, learn to play without a seer. The game, according to Manti, was in favor of the humans, so this is just embarrassing.

I wasn't subbed out?

Anyway I guessed all 3 wolves in my head which was pretty cool. My logic was basically just "what would i have done if i was a wolf" so it wouldn't have gone over well w/ the rest of the voters, but yeah, it wasn't a lie.

Yeah, I was a lot less than subtle.

It also didn't occur to me that eventually you guys would run into the blues with the wolf seer. That totally sucked right about oh, I dunno when you screwed over 2/3 blues >_>

Oh well -__-'

I was really expecting to be lynched after the stunt I pulled during day two. I missed Bynary's vote when I was going through the posts, so I tried to surprise off rsr so that I didn't have to worry about Sully being randomly killed via kitb, but you guys ignored it completely. >_>

Haha yeah that would have sucked if I had gotten killed. I mean if you're going to "vote" for someone who already has a safety, it isn't a safety.. it's a vote.

It's kinda rude to holler at someone who won't be online till 4 or 5 EST. It hasn't even been 24 hours since the game ended.

I'm sure gamer will post host signups when he gets online. Give him a chance to finish school first.

size 7 font is obnoxiously big. Size 5 is so much better.

As far as the game goes, you don't have to give out an MVP. Pretty much noone deserved it.
We should host more non seer games where people actually need to analyze whats going on around them.

Seriously.

I love how no one even wants to talk about what happened this game. I think Gamer did a pretty good job hosting for the most part, except for changing the core game rules halfway through the game yeah man that was pretty dumb. Just to save your own game.

If it has gotten to the point where people just sit around and wait for the seer results, then maybe we -should- try a non-seer game.

Granted, I'm always for non (or at least weakened) seer games, but I really have to wonder if we'd have done so well if I didn't have the seering ability on our side. =/

EDIT: Manti had me figured out by Day 2, though. =P

Ok...about the game...blues couldn't really pull much together and greens didn't do much to help. Wolves did a good job for the most part about not slipping up while talking in convos, and the humans were mostly arguing with themselves about other humans. It was a blowout.

P.S I forgot Gamer wasn't EST...my bad =/.

The one thing I think you guys should have done: Bullet, you should have spread that Ruritsu was the psychic after he came out to you as guard. We may have already seered Turbo at that point, but you still would have had a higher chance of getting us to wolf Ruritsu and costing us a possible wolf, not to mention that if we hadn't seered Turbo by then, it'd be an even bigger blow.
