TWG XVI: A Dark And Stormy Night (End of Day 6, wolves win)

I'm sorry I haven't posted much guys. I just haven't had anything to say.

Anyway, my vote (subject to change) is for aperson. I know, I did vote Snapps because of him being on his list Day 1, but the more I look back, the fishier it looks. The problem with ap is that he is smart, really smart. So I don't know wether to take his ploy as a trap for the wolves, or an excellent ploy to seem human. As of now, I will go for the latter.

Or you're just a stupid bandwaggoning pawn like you always are. Typical mead, nothing new here.

Stretchy: I know it seems fishy... but damnit, I have to take risks to delve out any kind of reasonable information on Day 1. I knew I'd catch flack for this, so I expect votes for me just like this on Day 2.

Knock yourself out, of course I'm smart enough to use this ploy as a wolf, the only problem is it works equally well being human.

Step up to the plate and look for real evidence, and look at all the jerks who are being completely freaking (that was for you chardish) inactive and not posting shi... crap.

No offense ap... but, while your intentions seem decent, you haven't actually contributed ANYTHING. Even in your post-tirade posts, all you are saying is that you know you'll take votes, and you want people to not vote for you... Instead of saying things like "well, I'd look at so and so instead..." or giving any evidence against anyone else. Your actions drew alot of attention towards yourself, but seem to have no payoff in the end, as it seems you haven't learned anything from them, or at least are choosing not to post anything you may have learned.

My vote goes to Talisman. After reviewing past games, and searching my gut feelings, I truely believe that AP is human. I greatly think that Talisman is a wolf.

Wonderful, I have no idea what to do.

AP just informed me that day ends in 18 minutes, and i'm quite convinced of his humanity. The vote i'm about to place is semi to avoid a phantom, but is based on a little something. Tps's post saying "I greatly think that talisman is a wolf." is just... lacking a lot of substance, and seems like a way to get someone lynched.

Now... I haven't ruled out the fact that Talisman or AP could be wolves, but I havne't gotten a chance to talk to Talisman yet this game.

I'm going to lead on this trail as well, Talisman is coming off as wolf on just a plain intuitive level to me. I can't really justify exactly why I've placed him as a wolf, but I truly believe he is. Besides, we don't have much more to go on right now with the insane inactivity as a whole...

Omeganitros needs to speak the hell up too, I haven't heard crap from him and frankly I wouldn't mind him being gone at the end of this day either

Well then what the hell do you want to see, nforcer? You know why I'm being difficult and critical? because this game has been crap. It's been inactive as all hell and basically nothing is getting done. I'm sorry I tried to do something on day one, but you're going to have to make your mind up on that one by yourself. I'm sorry I'm trying to pressure people into doing something in this inactive, worthless game. You know why I'm trying to do this? Because if everyone is silent then we get nothing but random kills, and the wolves get the edge.

But hey, you might be throwing this vote out to protect talisman. Now doesn't that say something, hmmmmm?

Tie between Talisman and aperson.

aperson: you have 3 knives. The boxes are red, blue, yellow, green, white, and black.

Talisman: pick ONE box. If you pick a box with a knife in it you die.

Still 50% chance, this just makes it interesting.

"So, who kicks the bucket?" asks Stretchy. "Talisman or Aperson?"

"Aperson, because his name was bolded and in red there," says LD.

"You know you can't divine any hints from the story like that," says Kilga.

Meanwhile Aperson has a sad look on his face. There is a countenance of doomed acceptance about him, as that of a man walking to his execution.

"I'm boned," he utters bluntly.

"Because there is a tie vote," says the Vice President of the United States, whose job it is to cast tiebreaking votes, "it is my job to cast the tiebreaking vote."

"Wait, huh?" says Flypie.

"Read the rules of TWG, it's in there," says the VP. "Seriously. Don't you guys ever read the stickies? Rule 4a."

The survivors mutter contentedly. All exept Aperson, who has begun to softly weep, accepting his fate.

"Anyway," continues the VP. "Since I don't really know any of you and don't care who lives or dies, I have developed an elaborate and cruel system that pretends to be really psychological but just isn't, and instead boils down to random chance. I have here six lead boxes of various colors and three jars of molten boron. Aperson pours the boron in three of the boxes. Then Talisman opens one of the boxes up above his head. Since boron's melting point is over 3,700 degrees farenheit, it's not going to be a pleasant death. Anyway. I'm sure I'm - BORING you - ha, ha, ha - so let's get down to brasstacks. Talisman, turn around. Aperson, pour the boron in three boxes. It doesn't really matter which ones you choose since we all know by now that you lose this one. Spoiler warning!"

Aperson pours the boron in the blue, green, and black boxes.

"Now," says the VP, "pick one, Talisman."

Talisman lifts the blue box in the air. It feels pretty heavy in his hands. He picks up the yellow box with much greater ease.

"This one," says Talisman.

But it doesn't matter, since Aperson's muffled screams have already come to a halt, his head and torso burned to a crisp by molten boron. It seems the VP anticipated the outcome of the game and already executed the results.

"Well, that's it for Boron-in-Box. Vice president away!"

The Vice President of the United States vanishes in a puff of green smoke.

It is now Night 3. I need picks from any surviving wolves and blues.

"Watch!" says Tasselfoot in a triumphant tone. "I have solved the crime. Observe as I stroke my own precious ego by announcing my findings in a most dramatic manner. To the kitchen! Follow me!"

The survivors follow Tass to the kitchen. The door is shut.

"As you know, this is a textbook crime. But since you idiots couldn't figure it out yourselves, I have single-handedly deduced the solution using a scant fraction of my brain," he continues. "Observe! The killer is - THE BUTLER!"

Tass kicks open the door triumphantly. The kitchen is blood-splattered, and the corpse of the butler lies strewn about the floor with a sword through his chest.

"Well, great. With the butler dead, now we can go home," says Tasselfoot.

"I don't think the butler is the killer," says Flypie.

"Astute observation, Dr. Holmes," says Stretchy.

"Um, guys, I have something to report," sas Lightdarkness. "I think Tps is dead."

"Look, we're putting cover sheets on all our TPS reports now," says Blah. "Didn't you get the memo?"

"No, what this means is that Tass is wrong about this one," says Kilga.

"Who's surprised?" asks Blah.

"The killer, or killers, is or are still among us," says Nforcer. "It's time to get back to brasstacks."

"What's that even mean, anyway?" asks Talisman.

It is now Day 3. Day ends at Wednesday, 6:00 PM EDT. For those of you complaining about day-ending time, you get 48+ hours to make up your mind.
