I'm a buffalo thing. Level 11. Dumping all my bonus stat points into attack.

You may want to start over due to the Buffalo being so damn easy to level, but if you don't and just start going all attack now, the damage you'll lose in the end will be VERY minimal, since you're only level 8. It's like if you add Maxing MP in Maplestory 2 levels later than you sure. Yeah, you won't turn out perfert, but no, you won't really lose much. Your choice, really.
So basically since I'm a dragon I just dump everything into magic correct.

      Level 5. Game is ok.

I'm putting my stat points into attack, sometimes putting a few into HP or Accuracy.

At level 18 on my buffalo, I consistantly hit over 200 on level 18 monsters(aka monsters my level), I'd like someone to compare with. I did the "perfect" build and went all attack.

@Bahamut, different characters have different builds. I'd search for a mage build first if I were you, because I don't really have any mage builds myself. Mainly due to how I never cared to be one in this game.

            Re: Trickster: The game

Mage build all you need is Magic Attack. I've already ruined my Dragon, but since he's 36 and I don't feel like restarting I'm just gonna keep going. I gave him some luck to hit more, by mistake, and I gave him more MP. The more MP isn't bad but I'm weaker than Dragons that are straight MA.

Also, there are two main magic attacks for Dragons. Magic Arrow and Magic Ring. Magic Arrow is a level five skill, Magic Ring is a level 20 skill (TM levels). I took arrow because I didn't know better. Level 23 Ring is doing more damage than my arrow and I'm 36. So if you want ring, only put one TM into arrow. I stayed with arrow though because at TM level 55 I get Arrow Rush, it's just like magic ring but summons 3 or 4 arrows (Ring summons 3 rings to attack). Magic arrow is a faster attack though, with the cool down time etc.

And eb, I knew how to do channel chat before you were even playing nub.

Mages can kill stuff in one hit, but they can also die in one hit.

              Be careful.

Hmm... would you advise arrow or ring more? Or which one do you find is most fun to use?

Ring is supposedly better. I'm sure Scorp will say the same.

tosh, i'm hitting ~80 on my level monsters at 11. I'm not gonna start over, this is a beta anyways so won't everything get erased?

Anyway, I'm home from work now. I don't see the chat room. Who's keeping that up?

                        Re: Trickster: The game

The server just had a bug and it closed all the chats/parties/friends list.

I'm not sure which is better yet. Tosh, you have to take in account that Ring users don't get Arrow Rush because you need to have arrow mastered to get that. Sure ring gets Reinfored Ring, but I'm not sure which is better in the end.

If you do Love Hunter's Forest Wasp monster quest in southwest forest you get 23000 TM experience, I don't know what I was at before but it brought me up to 80% and I know that it's usually at least 50% behind my level.

And if you do go to ring, only put one point into arrow.

I usually check in on the chatroom every 15 min or so. Usually Scorpio has it up, but if it isn't I just create it. But yeah, right now everything is being lame. Btw, if you find anything that's blessed, stout, awakening, w/e (anything rare), hold onto it. I've been seeing a lot of those sell for 20k+ O_o

                          Ps: Level 43 xD

I've never gotten a blessed or etc. piece of equipment/item. Guess it's like an already-scrolled item in MS.

No, it's just an above average item in terms of ms relation. Love hunter in the Pyramid Dungeon gives 28000 TM exp.

                                Chat's up.
