p.s the games now have become so technical that it's not a matter of wit or interpersonal skill anymore (the core of TWG!). Games have become a race to find out what cog moved what cog and when. Cogs don't have personalities. Go figure, I don't play here anymore because games seem to have lost that touch.

I have to agree with this. A lot of the reason the games are seeming unbalenced is that the more roles we have that are special, the smaller pool of people the wolves can hide in.

it's not about not liking complicated games. It's about them being complicated for the sake of being complicated. Complicated shouldn't even be the word - convoluted is better. Your games are full of roles and possible actions that it leaves no time for word play, incrimination, and overall deduction. The beauty of TWG is that players can hide between a few set roles and misguide others.

Sure, you can have items. Sure, you can have shifts. Just don't make the game about that specifically.

plus, your games are nonsensical to the point of madness anyway.

I agree with most of the things you have said in the thread. However, i'm sure rzr's games could be fun if played under the right circumstances.

With that being said, I'm going to put up player sign ups. I also move to make the game after mine a standard TWG.

Wolf, wolf, MW.

Seer, guardian, (phychic)

Humans.

This way we can get back in touch with our TWG roots and play the game for what it is truly meant to be.

From there we can decide in which direction to head.
