I don't get the whole fishing aspect of the game. I spent two hours last night trying to catch the reekfish -.- Fishing tips anyone?

Awesome game, haven't been stuck yet (except fishing parts which take me years). It's a lot like Ocarina though. Morpha vs morpheel :/ etc..

Reekfish aren't in the Fishing Hole pond. They're in Zora's Domain.

You have to have the earring on the fishing rod you got at the beginning of the game and just cast it near "Mother and Child rock" (reference to Wind Waker =o)

The point in getting the biggest wallet is to be able to use the Magic Armor for a longer time.

I dont think you understand the concept of unlimited...

Just got through the Hyrule Castle (with the extra key leading to the room with lots o' stuff =P) except im having a WHOLE lot of difficulty figuring out how to beat ganon's beast form. I beat zelda being ganons puppet and i also did the thing where you shoot him in the forhead and then cut his belly up but now midna is telling me to turn into a beast and go one on one with him but everytime i go at him he just runs straight through me and when i try the arrows again he just jumps up making it miss =\.

Best way to deal with a group of the armour guys is to pull one at a time. The most annoying part of the cave by a long shot is those Ice men and the big statues that freeze you.

I loved charging up a jump attack on top of the ledge and jumping down into a mass of gremlin things. So awesome.

lol. I was sitting there waiting for it to say "Fish On".

40 hours, 41 poes, 18 hearts I believe (2 less than max). Haven't entered Huryle castle yet, 4 bottles, need 5 more bugs
At least 15 hours on pause and whatnaught. Need 1 more sword lesson.

Well i beat it a couple days ago, the ending was... decent i guess. I think im going to go back and get all of the poes now and finish the cave. Btw, like i said before, the last sword lesson the ultra spin or whatever is the one i use least often and its not even that cool.

Well, I just beat it the other night. About 34 hours of gameplay, and I really didn't care to get all the extras. Let's see, 14 hearts, 26 poes, about 5 of the gold bugs, and I didn't really bother fishing. I'm missing the last sword skill, but I know where to find it so that's not a big deal. Only thing that's driving me nuts now is the Cave of Ordeals. I get eaten alive in the rooms with all the ice creatures right before the two armored knights. Hoo boy, how much further do I have to go with it?

And Squeek, my mistake you did say 39 hours, my bad. But, it still is quite hard for me to believe. You can say otherwise, but my mind is set.

I swear you all act like 35 hours is impossible to do, when all I see on gaming boards is that the average time of completion is 35 hours.

I beat it in 37, but that was with absolutely no sidequests at all, pause time, and with at least an hour delay from stupidity in every temple.

i.e., I went through EVERY treasure chest TWICE in the water temple because I didn't realize that the door under the staircase was the boss key door.
