Silver=free and basically worthless. It's really like a messaging system. You can't play your games online against people.

Gold=Same as Xbox live for the original. All the original capabilities and probably more. Costs money though.

XBOX 360 I really don't find it worth it's money. Not that many great games for it, and the graphics are virtually the same as the XBOX, however, PS3 will kickass...@_@

enchanted arms has an amazing storyline, and final fantasy costs 13 a month to play but you can with people on pc and ps2.

Enchanted Arms was a excellent game, too bad it was kinda easy and not real long if you sat down for several hours and played non-stop. The box says 50 hrs of play....I only had about 35 hrs, guess I was really into the game to stop playing it. Then came the worst part, the ending....I didn't like how it ended very much. I give it a 8/10 in my opinion.

Now, that's something even I might consider.

$100 for a Core Xbox 360. Sure, it's Core. Wired controller, no free Xbox Live service.

Exactly what I wanted! I prefer wired controllers to wireless and I don't care for Xbox Live. If anything, I'd get Silver membership.

But man, it's taking place right in line with the Wii launch. I don't know.

Just letting you all know that this is an option.

I don't think you'd like the games for the Xbox 360, and that's all that really matters.

I probably wouldn't (though I hear Gears is quite awesome) but I'm just trying to help others.

I don't see why you wouldn't like the 360 games, It's getting quite a few amazing RPG's on the line.

The games that intrest me so far are:

TRUSTY BELL/Eternal Sonata: Chopin’s Dream
Blue Dragon
Chromehounds
Dead Rising
Enchanted Arms
Gears Of War
Lost Odyssey
N3
Phantasy Star Universe
Saints Row
Viva Pinata

and I'm quite a picky person. More are sure to come out.
The 360 is nothing like the xbox was. It has many varied genres.

Only RPG I'd like to see right now is Blue Dragon.

Probably because of the cartoonish graphics along with the serious (or semi-serious) mood.

I heard a rumor floating around that Assassin's Creed is coming out for the 360...

I'm getting a 360 even if that's not happening. GoW is one of the most beautiful games I have ever seen. And my friends keep telling me a bunch of games that're coming out for it soon.
