i sent in a "spread" file since you most likely won't accept my index songs...

edit: if the hardest chart is spread-based you can couple indexable charts along with it
the pack is targeted toward spread players, i don't expect any indexers at all to even download it (an incredibly small portion of stepmania players still play index seriously). i encourage you to include index and even pad charts in your files, but the primary chart will always be judged as if you'd made it for spread.

          Sending a file

          Paranoia Revenge.

Dont whine, I haven't seen a decent chart for it yet and its my fav paranoia remixes by far. Im also willing to go all the way with this file to so I guess go nutz on the critcism. But plz dont destroy it because its paranoia.

Im also thinking about sending Afronova Primevil to this if I ever get to it because there isn't a good KB chart for it either.

Re: FFR Community Pack III (Submissions Open)

I mainly stepped the drums for revenge and maybe some of the rythem. Will have to go back and check. But ya, i will work on it to get it accepted or collab depending on how picky the judges become. But the collab is final resort.

Afronova Primevil is turning into a decent file. The beginning is stepped with the vocal freezes +jump/single pattern with with a yellow note in between where ever you hear that isolated triba drum sound. The rest will follow the drums and whatever melody is present. Its pretty standard actually. But I haven't seen anyone attempt a KB file of it. So thats why Im trying it out.

Since Im having trouble downloading songs and stuff because Im in China, I think Ill return back to the classics where I think good DDR songs should be stepped in KB way. But, I will only float around the range of Paranoia kind of music. No Vocals and no nothing singing.

Re: FFR Community Pack III (Submissions Open)

stepping ddr songs for KB is an interesting challenge actually since DDR typically has all the 'throwaway' dance music that isn't distinctive enough to be put on IIDX or pop'n or GH/DM :>

there are gems in it though (pluto!)

also 321 stars. it was already stepped in the smg community revival pack but the song actually has a fair number of rhythms which change in slight, subtle ways all the time, as well as lots of random little sounds.

actually I kind of feel guilty for admitting this but I want to have another go at making a spread file for the legend of max now that my ears are better trained and I can pick out those very quiet synth melodies in it
the only thing stopping me is the fact that no one would play it

Resending Paranoia Revenge because I found out I missed some things and I also added some jump freezes which I should of incorperated in the middle drum pattern but didn't. So disregard the first file I sent.

Edit: OMG what was I thinking. Definatly resending the file. Found some major errors LOL.

Im a fan of the Trip machine and the Paranoia series, not much on the Max series since it tend to end up in the same way everytime.

God I think Ill side track myself from Afronova Primevial and try Dead End. I loved that song and I think it might be good. What shocks me more is how come no one has ever thought about stepping DDR songs in KB style. I was going to in the past, but I kept being sidetracked stepping Gabba and DNB songs.
