Re: Paying attention to arrow notes

i pay attention to the notes and think of the patterns rhythmically being a band nerd and all haha, but for some people they just think of it as guitar hero and pay attention to no rhythms and just hit the notes, i guess whatever works for you.

Thaor plays on default which doesn't differentiate patterns beyond 16ths colour-wise, so you'll probably be OK without paying attention to it.

Re: Paying attention to arrow notes

I suppose being able to recognize something as a triplet is much more effective than 3 different notes. I think I'll try to learn it, but I can't think of any songs that aren't very hard and can be used to help.

I really want to play 600 A.D. but I can't read it for crap.

It helps me. I wouldn't have been able to AAA Piano x Forte without that ability.

I never learned what all the notes are.......I just hit the arrows.

I always pay attention to the colors of the arrows. After a few seconds of the song, I get the tempo down pretty well and reading stream is much easier. It also helps with tricky patterns, when the beats aren't necessarily as straightforward and smooth as stream.
