Theme: HP Lovecraft Cthulhu Mythos in 1920s Rhode Island. A group of terrified townsfolk in a small town try to come to grips with a series of ritual murders that reek of the occult and demon worship.

No cardflipping, standard day/night lengths, night talking allowed.

Personally I like the savior the best. But I would keep the medium in check. If they died they could still post and stuff, just not vote.


Another idea just came to me: Salem Witch Trials. That'd be the theme. I started playing when I was reading The Crucibel. It'd go Sooooo well with the game.

BTW, I've always meant to ask this, at what point is a host declared winrar? After a certain time, a certain lead? Just wondering.

After about 24 hours or so of someone being in the lead. Or if everyone is clamoring for one host, it could be much shorter.

Bah. I want flaw to be just because....well he's flaw. But juggling's game is pretty interesting and I helped him out create the special blue roles. And, with only 6/16 humans, you'll have more chances of getting a fun role.

Yeah. It pretty much varies. But when everyone is saying "just put the player sign ups up" then you do so. There's really no particular set time frame. Other than that you just wait until... it's like insta. If 20 people are to be playing and 11 or so vote for you then just post it (speaking as if its two contestants for the host position).

It just means the pattern will be starting over again. Another radical suggestion, but maybe we should set aside a TWG version for elite players solely interested in complex and complicated games.

juggling and I have discussed the complexity of this game already. Frankly, it's not the difficult. The roles (purple) are good enough to make the game fun but not too challenging, and the roles are very well balanced.

Edit- Also, these games do not even merit as "complicated" or "complex" by previous TWG standards.

Yeah, but remember back when we all played jTWG and it started the same way. Nice and slowly and not complicated, but slowly we worked into it.
Personally I prefer complicated games. I mean REALLY complex games. Like the Midevil War game I invented. I'd have loved to play that.

But the pattern may reoccur.

Lies. I helped formulate most of the plan with jugglinguy. He just wanted advice for balancing issues. =P

Xception and Lito, you both helped me quite a bit, just on completely different parts. Xception, you made me actually start making the jtwg just because you flipped out when I said "I wish there'd be a jTWG The Office" or something like that =P. Lito, you helped me make the purples a more fun role to be.
