Vowels are maroon, consonants are orange, symbols are green, numbers are silver, function keys are black, escape is maroon, like buttons on either side (shift, ctrl etc.) should be the same color... And I just messed around with the other parts.
If you want more definition on the right side of the keyboard, I could change some colors around over there. Like... the enter being a different color or something.

ok heres mine

the image wont show up but what it shows is a yellow keyboard with colourful keys such as many shades of blue, red, purple and pink and some other colours i forgot about

Oh, hahaa, I completely forgot about the case.



How about that: black with a darker maroon through the center.
And I made the right enter key green and the right 0 silver.
Edit: Oh, and, it's not in the image, but I decided to make the NumLock key black.

Edit2: Should this be in the 32-Bit RBG section?

I suck at photoshop. Could someone please explain to me how to color individual things?

You don't need to make a picture for it, you can just describe it and I might try to make it in Photoshop.

Hell, you could even scribble something out in Paint if you want to make a picture of it. It doesn't need to be well done, I'm just interested in the colors.



To answer your question, though, you can download the PSD I linked to in the first post, and then use it to color the layers. If you want to make groups of keys, just duplicate the layer that has all the keys on it for each different color you want, and on each layer erase the keys that you don't want to be that color.

Select the layer you want to color and press Ctrl+U to bring up the hue/saturation menu, then just mess with the options to get the desired result.

Definitely liking some of the stuff here. The patterns with the keys seems like it has potential.

i think it would be alot less painfull to actually just paint the base of the keybaord also the keys wouldn't feel sticky all the time, the middle keys where you type you can leave black, unless your going to use some of that clear plastic coating stuff then dont worry about it, but yeah i figured that it was probally better to leave it fairly simple

And if you're looking for a completely stylistic approach thing... Or whatever...
I prefer the category-distinct coloring, but here's some random thing you may find interesting or not...
