It's a common tactic, from what I've read in other threads. Seer comes out, guardian protects if there are no counter-claims.

If there are, humans try to deduct who the wolf is. If there's a sure bet on which is the wolf, the suspected baddie gets lynched. If no clear line is drawn between the real seer and the faker, both get lynched.

eh, I read your post too quickly.

But yeah, it is generally better for the seer to come out to the thread while the guardian is still alive than to lay low. I was the seer in the first game I played, and decided not to come out to the thread, which sorta got me into trouble.

Perhaps one is the guardian trying to get a counter claim to figure out who the seer is... which isn't really reliable.

This is exactly correct. Of course, the guardian can also be found out by the wolves, which puts the blue alliance in a risky position. Claiming to be blue is rather tricky, IMO. You have to have a lot of experience to pull it off.

Human/noob and not a seer here, was trying to protect juggling because I didn't realize that the guardian would have protected the seer being juggling.
