No. If said person gets kidnapped, they won't get a phantom because they are unable to vote for that phase.

Yes Zoshi. That does include the thread. The Flashlight (or Torch) is essentially just an item used to well, give off the wrong results. Think of it as a Flashlight that is about to run out of batteries and you can barely see in the distance. As for the usage, it is a one-time use item but it will be randomized per night phase that it is not used. So you really need to ask yourself this: Do you use it on the phase that you got it on or do you trust that your comrade will get the item and not your adversary?

Also for the colours of the drunk seering:

Red = Green
Green = Red
Onis (Grays) = Random
Blues = Random

Random can include: Red, Green, Gray, Blue, or any colour possible like Purple. So whoever possess the Torch can have a very slim chance of landing a gray or blue if they wish to use it on their selected Night Phase.
