    1. No one's fault but your own that you didn't check your PM until almost 24 hours after it was sent to you. 2. What do you mean you aren't going to be moving there until next turn. How could you have found something if you didn't move there to find it? 3. You explained absolutely nothing. 4. Please do explain what you found. As, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you should know pretty fricking well what helps us and what doesn't. The stinger missle room is helpful, the 2 generator rooms are helpful, the commander's terminal is helpful to call off all the guards (but don't say where it is, the patriots could use it as well, etc.), the seer terminal is helpful. Other than that, none of the rooms are so called "essential to winning".

So, Yellow, please do explain what on earth you found.

    Gray out.

Teal, part of my delay was just being busy (for the sake of staying in character, we can pretend I was getting away). Part of it was to see if anyone else had run into a guard (as it's quite likely), and I couldn't think of a good enough reason to share this information until now.

Movement phase is not over -- anyone who requested to check room C-3 has time to change his orders. The likelihood of others "grouping up" in one room are very, very, very low, by the way, especially if we're trying to keep at least one Foxhound member on every floor.

It doesn't matter, no one's going to group up because the guard is still alive and doing so would just be asking for another alert mode (although at 88 percent we're asking for it every turn).
What does matter is that you don't say anything about where you were if a guard dies.

I think the people need to make a choice.
        1) Tell people what floor you are going to
        2) Tell people when a guard is dead.

You can't do both or you run into problems stated earlier. I vote that number 1 be told, that way we make sure odds are as low as possible that we will run into a guard and, more importantly, a patriot.

I will be on level A

I found a Map Terminal the first turn. One of the rooms I chose to look at came back as *CLASSIFIED*. I talked to the commander, and he said it may not be one of the rooms we need to win, but there is still a chance it might be. I chose to go to that room next turn and investigate. I will tell you what I find.

Actually, knowing where that guard is could be very beneficial. A sneaker could easily kill that guard without setting off alert mode. Also, if a couple sneakers both take it upon themselves to eliminate this threat and both show up in that room, but no alarm is triggered, they can both be SURE that each other are sneakers and SURE that they are both FOXHOUND.

Of course, Patriots hearing this strategy may think "Oh boy, they'll listen to Magenta so we can go to that room and kill them as they enter." However, if alert mode gets triggered again and a couple people come up missing, then whoever killed the sneakers will only be a history terminal away from getting lynched.

If you are a sneaker or a Patriot, I suggest you read may statements very carefully. VERY carefully.

So then is the plan for all sneakers to go to C-3 and anyone that knows a history terminal to man it as a check?

Well, that's basically what I'm suggesting. I think the sneakers (two, I suppose. 3 would be too risky) should go there and take out the guard and gain each other's trust. I added that 2nd part as a way to divert wolves from going to the room. First of all, if the alarm is triggered we can suspect that it was done so in that room. Second, if a couple people (like yellow, who is obviously a sneaker since he used a terminal) go missing then we'll know something is wrong. Since it would be our second time looking for rooms, I'm sure somebody is bound to get to either a locator, super locator, or history terminal next turn. Also, the wolves will have wasted a turn giving themselves away when they could be destroying/hacking terminals.

Basically, I gave the sneakers a suggestion and safeguarded them from any Patriot plans. I suggest everybody to try to put themselves in the Patriot's position. For everything you suggest, think of how they would react to it. Then, knowing what they would do, find a way to counter that. If you can't counter it, don't make the suggestion. If you can, make the suggestion and tell what the counter is so the Patriots don't even try to mess with your plans. The Patriots could very easily not heed my warnings and go in for the kill, but we would very easily dispose of that person. That would eliminate 1/3 of their entire team, which is something they should be smart enough to not risk.

sounds good magenta... now here's the next question. Do we want people to volunteer for this so we don't get 20 people in the room? Or not, because people might want to remain anonymous?

How exactly does the map terminal work? You get to find out what is in how many different rooms. And, that does explain your previous statement. Thank you for clearing that up Yellow.

                    Gray out.

I think that we should leave that discussion where it is. Magenta that is a fantastic idea for building an alliance. As much as I want it to work, I'm afraid it can't. All it takes is for one person somewhere else to set off the alarm and then no one in that room can be sure that the other is human. At such a high chance of triggering the alarm, it's not worth crowding so many people into a publicly known room.

If people openly volunteer, fine. If they choose to remain quiet about it and go anyways, that's good, too. However, if they announce that they are going then we'll know who to expect a report from tomorrow. Otherwise we'll be kinda flying blindly. Hence, I suggest that a couple people openly volunteer here on the boards.

This sounds like a decent plan, Magenta. I do think that we should have NO MORE than 2 people go to the room, for it is too risky. If alert mode goes off with three people in that room, all hell will break loose. And if that does happen, then it would be difficult to pin the wolf.

So, in closing...I think that we should only have two sneakers go into that room, for a very effective alliance system.

The plan checks out on these conditions.

2 sneakers go to the room. Any more, and we have a wolf.
2 sneakers go to C3, no more.
                            Just 2 sneakers!

Both say who they are, publicly, on the boards and check in tomorrow.

If the alarm goes off, nothing matters. The whole deals off, we know nothing.

If the alarm doesn't go off, there is no guarantee that they were both human and not both wolves until a hacker uses a history terminal and see that the room C3 contained those 2 people after the second movement phase.

The hacker needs to be vouched for by 1 hacker who saw that hacker with a seer terminal, that was not one of the first two. Only then can we be certain that they are human.

Is it worth it? Yes, if it works, but it takes many requirements, don't get too enthusiastic for now. That being said. Go for it. If you're going to C3 tonight, say so.

Indigo makes a perfectly accurate post. It'll be hard to pull off and get decent results, but its better then nothing, and there's only a chance for success.
